Push your crippling expectations onto them
hang the noose of unrealized dreams over their heads
hold the gun of unattainable goals to their chests
fire the bullet of nihilism straight through their hearts
crush what little hope remains in the palms of your hands
watch them struggle
watch them flounder
watch them fail
stomp all over every bit of happiness
make them hate you
make them hate themselves
then force them to love you
after you suffocate them
then wonder why
all these poor kids
are so screwed up
