Chapter Fifty Seven

"Oh my god! Milly!" I hear someone scream as I use my crutches to help me walk down the ramp from the plane.

I look up to see Calum, Michael and Luke standing ten meters away from us, huge smiles on their faces. I catch Ashton shaking his head in amusement as he sees the boys holding the sign that says 'Welcome to Sydney Milly!' Laughing quietly, I finally arrive to be standing in front of the boys.

"Milly! You're finally here!" Mikey says as he wraps his arms around me and picks me off the floor.

"Can't...breathe," I choke.

"Oh sorry," he says sheepishly as he puts me down carefully. 

"You okay baby girl," Ash mumbles in my ear.

I smile up at him and nod. Ash. So protective. Even when he knows there is nothing to be worried about. I look over at the other boys and sending them big grins. That's all it takes for the other two boys to jump on me in a huge hug.

"Milly!" Ashton yells right before my knee gives out and I fall to the floor.

"Oww," I groan, tears coming to my eyes.

All four boys jump on their knees around me, their voices overlapping and causing a huge ruckus. I quickly cover my ears, blocking out their concerned voices. My knee is throbbing and all I want is to take pain killers or to pass out so I don't have to deal with the pain.

"Milly. Baby girl are you okay?" Ash whispers in my ear while linking his fingers with my own. I didn't even feel him pry my hand off my ear. 

"My knee really hurts Ashy," I whimper.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart. As soon as we get home I will get you some pain killers okay baby girl?"

All I can do is nod. I haven't felt pain like this in a while. Maybe it's the fact that I had so much weight put on it all at once. There was no way my knee was ever going to withstand that amount of pressure put on it, let alone so soon. I've only had the brace off for 5 days. I still have to wear a smaller, more comfortable brace with no metal arms attached to it for goodness sake.

I feel someone pick me up and when I look up I see Ash smiling sadly down at me. We walk over the luggage collection area where we pick up my two large suitcases and Ashtons' small one, along with my guitar.

Somehow we make it to the car outside without being stopped by any fans. Maybe it's the fact that they are walking quite quickly or maybe it's the fact that Ashton is carrying me. Who knows. But for some reason no one bothers us.

As soon as we reach the car Ashton places me carefully in the passenger seat. He closes the door and I buckle myself in. The other boys get in the car after putting all our stuff in the boot. Ash starts the car and we take off.

"Milly we're really sorry. We didn't mean to hurt you," I hear Luke mumble.

"It's fine," I say as I grit my teeth, trying to ignore the pain the bumps in the road cause.

"No it's not. We should have been way more careful," Cal says sadly.

"Hey, listen boys. I know you...ow da hell is with this road and all the bumps? Anyway, I know you didn't mean to and if you had known this would have happened I know you wouldn't have done it," I say while trying contain the inappropriate words that I want to say.

"Baby girl, we'll be home soon. Don't worry," Ash says as he grabs my hand in his.

I smile over at him, watching him as he concentrates on the rode. I love the way his curly mop of hair falls over one of his eyes. I love the way his skin feels against mine. I love the way my hand fits perfectly in his. I love the way his touch sends butterflies flying through my stomach. I love...

What the hell am I thinking?

I shake my head slightly, riding my head of those feelings. I see Ash look at me out of the corner of his eye, a confused look on his face. I send him a smile which cause him to laugh, it was really a giggle but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and look back at the road.

"So Milly, are you excited?"

"Huh?" I ask while turning around in my seat, only to see all three boys smirking at me.

I send them all a glare which causes them all to stifle a laugh. Calum starts wiggling his eye brows at me while Michael and Luke start looking at each other, leaning forward as if they are going to kiss. I huff in annoyance. This is going to be hell.

"All three of you, knock it off. I'm really not in the mood," I sigh while pointing at my knee.

The three boys mumble an apology, hanging their heads. I smirk before turning around just in time for us to go over a huge bump which jerks my knee around. I let out a cry, tears coming to my eyes, as pain shoots through my knee. Ash quickly pulls over before turning off the car and jumping out.

My car door is opened and Ash crouches down next to me, "Are you sure you're okay sweetheart? We can take you to the hospital if you need to."

"No! No! No!" I scream while wiggling in my seat, trying to get away.

"Milly? Baby girl what's wrong?" he asks quietly while placing his hands on my cheeks, my tears pooling around his hands.

"No more hospitals. I can't go back in there Ash. I can't," I cry.

"Okay, no hospitals. But do you think you can manage being in the car for another ten minutes?"

I nod slowly and he smiles at me before placing a kiss on my forehead. He wipes away the tears that are still on my cheeks before standing up and closing the door.

"Ohhh Milly, you getting it on," Cal teases.

I send him a glare as Ash get back in the car, "Okay you three. Leave Milly alone would you."

"Fine," they all whine at the same times.

I giggle at their puppy dog faces as Ashton starts the car up and takes off down the road.

OH YEAH! Next chapter is up!

I would probably chose to live in Austin and Ally. Just because I really love the music concept of it. I really like to sing and stuff and I want to learn guitar so being able to live in Austin and Ally would be AMAZEBALLS!
