Bam travelled up the ramp and into the main terminal of the Calgary airport. Once he went through the doors to the unsecured area his eyes scanned every face, searching for those familiar whiskey-hazel eyes.
He felt a hand on his arm and his heart jumped. He turned towards it only to see a short girl with brunette hair and a taller redhead. "Excuse me. Can we get a picture with you?"
Bam quickly hid his disappointment and smiled. "Sure." He set his bag down at his feet as the girl handed her camera to the redhead.
"So are you fans of the show?" He asked as the brunette put her arm around his waist. He put his hand on her shoulder and smiled for the camera.
"Totally. We watch it all the time."
"Oh thanks." He replied. He wasn't sure what else to say. He didn't run into fans very often, for obvious reasons.
The redhead gave her phone to the brunette and they switched places. The redhead slipped her arm around Bam's waist and pressed herself a little too close to his side. "Are you here alone?" She asked in a sultry voice. Bam's smile faltered as she hooked a finger through his belt loop.
"I'm meeting a friend." He replied.
"Smile." The brunette chirped and clicked a picture as Bam grimaced in her direction.
"Oh good." the red head purred in his ear. "Two of you and two of us. That could add up to one hell of a good time." She ran her fingernails up the back of his arm. Alarm bells started ringing in Bam's ears. The redhead turned to her friend and ordered her to take another picture. She pushed her breasts up against his chest and gave him a grin that looked positively predatory. "Or perhaps you'd prefer to have both of us all to yourself." She whispered in his ear as her hands found their way down to squeeze his backside.
"Oh my god!" He heard a female voice shriek. All three of them turned to see October quickly weaving her way between people in their direction.
"Oh no." Bam mumbled too quiet for anyone else to hear. She grabbed Bam's elbow and yanked him away from the redhead.
"Dude! I never miss an episode of your show!" She squealed so shrilly that Bam fought the urge to cover his ears. October loudly whispered to the two girls. "He's got his own reality show!"
The redhead huffed. "Yeah, we know who he is and if you'll excuse us we were just about to-"
October cut her off mid sentence. "You have got to take a photo with me! Please! Just one."
Bam looked like the proverbial deer-in-the-headlights. October just slid her arm around Bam's waist, winked at him and kept talking to the two girls. The redhead was now giving her a death glare and the brunette was actually sneering.
"Will you take our picture?" She held her phone out to the redhead, who made no move to take it. "Oh come on, please?" She begged. "If I don't get a picture my friends will never believe that I met Oliver Peck from Ink Master!"
The redhead made a disgusted sound and thrust October's phone back into her hands. She nodded to the brunette and they left. October and Bam's laughter followed as they disappeared into the crowd.
"Sorry I'm late." October whispered. Bam looked down at her mouth and reminded himself that they weren't alone.
He pressed his lips against her temple. "That was worth the wait."
October snuggled closer to his side. "You wanna get outta here?"
"Girl, you read my mind."
