"How is Nevaeh?" Joe questioned pulling away from her kissing her forehead gently. Demi smiled holding onto his hands. It was nice to see him again, she hadn't ever seen him outside the hospital before, seen him in normal clothes. She was really starting to like him and wanted to get to know him a lot better, she thought she deserved to be happy after everything she went through with Nathan and Neveah being sick.

"She's resting but I'm going to go wake her up soon, she hasn't had much to eat. She'll be excited to see you though." Demi smiled up at him.

"I'm excited to see you." Joe flirted slightly making her blush pushing him away.

"Loser," She accused smiling as he leaned down pecking her lips gently. "Your forgiven." Joe laughed letting her drag him into the living room where they both sat down after Joe denied a drink, he just wanted her to stay.

"At least she will be okay." Joe praised Demi nodding her head in agreement.

"How is your dad?" Demi inquired.

"Mom said he left the hospital earlier so better. I think it scared him a bit though, he's probably gonna go through his midlife crisis." Demi laughed as Joe smiled looking down at her. He had always promised he would concentrate on his studies and getting his career on track before he thought about dating anyone but he couldn't help himself. He felt as if he needed to be with Demi all the time, he had never felt like this towards someone before.

"It's rude to stare you know." Demi smirked slightly but kissed him back when he crashed his lips onto hers. Their lips moved with one another's Joe pulling her closer to him making her groan smile. She soon felt his tongue on her lips not hesitating to grant him access. They only pulled away from one another when air was desperately needed. Joe leaned forward leaning his forehead on hers as they were both breathy heavy but had smiles on their faces.

"I want to get to know you more." Joe breathed.

"So do I." Demi answered pecking his lips gently before pulling away. "But I need to get Nevaeh up." She pulled away from him wondering away Joe smiling as he fell back on the couch.

"Joey." Nevaeh mumbled still half asleep as she was clung to her mother. Demi smiled kissing her head gently as she sat down placing her little girl in her lap sideward but facing Joe who had moved so he was facing them both.

"How are you feeling?" Joe questioned taking her hand as she held out for it.

"Tired." She mumbled closing her eyes but not to fall asleep, she wanted to talk to Joe some more. He had promised he'd be by after work and he had kept his promise.

"Why don't you sit with Joe while I go heat up some soup?" Demi questioned her daughter moving some hair out of her eyes. Nevaeh nodded her head allowing Demi to sit her next to Joe snuggling up to him instead. Demi kissed her head and Joe's cheek before making her way into the kitchen, Joe wrapped his arm around the young girl.

"You'll feel much better soon then you can go run outside in the backyard." Joe stated.

"With Joey?" Nevaeh questioned.

"If you want me to play with you outside I will." Joe vowed switching the TV on smiling as Nevaeh looked up hearing the familiar sound of one of her favourite shows that she liked to watch while she was still I the hospital. Joe watched Nevaeh's show with her until Demi entered the room with a tray in her hand.

"Mommy brings soup." She announced making Nevaeh giggle.

"Joey feed me like at hospital?" Nevaeh questioned.

"Maybe a little bit but you need to try yourself." Joe stated taking the tray from Demi setting it on his lap.
