"Then pull the front over his front but you have to be quick, he might pee on us," Demi instructed making Joe laugh but did it quickly to save them both from being damp and having to change. "Just stick the flaps down and you're done."

"See that wasn't so hard was it Mason." Joe cooed lifting Mason back up in his arms who was content now he wasn't in a messy diaper. Demi smiled admiring the boy, he was adorable and at the right age to be fussed as he started smiling.

"I think you should check on Zack; it's been a while." Demi breathed Joe nodding his head handing Demi Mason before wondering into Zack's bedroom but he was careful not wanting to startle him. He was sat on the bed fiddling with one of his new boys.

"Hey Zack, how are you doing?" Joe questioned sitting on the edge of the bed. He just nodded his head to show he was okay. "Mason just had a diaper change, how about I show you how to do it next time then you can help?" He suggested Zack nodding his head again in agreement. "Just come out when you're ready, I'm not pushing you." Joe patted his back gently before leaving the room again but left the door open just a crack.

"He okay?" Demi inquired Joe nodding his head.

"He will be once he realises nobody is going to hurt him or his brother." Joe stated sitting down next to her again kissing her lips gently but then admired Mason who was still awake staring up at Demi. Demi knew with being around so much she'd grow attached to both boys and knew they would to her, especially Mason who didn't know any better.

Demi didn't stay too long knowing Zack would settle down more once she was gone, he hadn't known Joe for too long but they still had a little bond. Joe was cooking dinner when Zack came out of his room for the first time entering the kitchen with his stuffed Monkey that he brought with him from home. Joe smiled bending down to his level looking over to the draining board when he pointed over there with his hand which wasn't clamped around the monkey's arm.

"Drink?" Joe questioned Zack nodding his head cracking a small smile. "Water?" Zack nodded again watching as Joe got some water from the tap screwing the lid on top so he wouldn't spill it passing it to him watching as he took some sips. "Dinner will be ready soon if you want to sit up here?" Zack allowed him to take the drink again setting it on the table then lifting him up onto the chair making sure he was comfortable before continuing to cook dinner for the both of them. He had just served it up when the phone rang, he made sure Zack had his before answering it.

"Hey Joseph, how is Zack doing?" He heard his boss' voice.

"I think he's doing well; it took him a while to leave his room but it's going to take some time. He still hasn't said much like at the hospital." Joe explained sitting on the couch not wanting Zack to hear they were speaking about him.

"As long as he's not getting himself worked up." Charles praised.

"To be honest I think he would have tried to get out by now if it weren't for Mason being here." Joe admitted slipping the changing mat under the couch.

"Just give him time to get used to you and his environment and he could open up a little bit soon." Charles answered.

"Yeah he came from such a different environment, it will take some getting used to for him but I must go because we're having dinner and I left him alone," Joe stated the two of them saying goodbye before Joe wondered back into the kitchen his phone in his pocket seeing that Zack was slowly eating what he had made. "How about after dinner I'll set the stroller up and we can take Mason for a walk? Maybe even go to the park a bit?" Joe suggested but Zack shook his head quickly Joe sighing slightly, he wouldn't push Zack into anything but if it came to it he would but he seemed to be settling down, eating well and playing by himself. He just needed to earn his trust.
