"I'll go talk to someone, don't worry." Joe assured him acting calm until he was away from the bed then rushing over to his boss's office knocking on it before opening the door.

"Joseph your meant to be at home." Charlies lectured keeping his eyes on his paper work which needed doing after he had checked on his section of the hospital.

"I've been spending time with Zack..." Joe begun Charles cutting him off.

"How is he doing? Has he spoke yet?" Joe sighed nodding his head.

"Two words, sir he has a baby brother still at home!" Joe exclaimed Charles' eyes widening himself picking up his phone.

"Go home." Charles demanded Joe sighing nodding his head gently leaving the room shutting the door behind him. He didn't want to go home his mind being on Zack and his brother who could be in danger but he knew they would make him go home.

Demi bit her lip as she looked at her phone then over at Colton who had his arm wrapped around Nevaeh as they both watched the film.

"Do you mind if Joe comes over?" Demi whispered in Colton's ear not wanting to get Nevaeh excited if she wanted Joe to come over and he wasn't going to. Colton nodded his head gently a small smile on his face. He wasn't the type of friend to keep Demi away from her potential boyfriend when they were just starting out. "He was a little down yesterday cause of a patient so I may need to talk to him a little bit and see if he's okay."

"It's fine, honestly Demi." Colton insisted Demi giggling as she text Joe back. She continued to watch the film with her best friend and daughter until the doorbell rung getting up wondering over a smile on her face as she saw Joe in front of her.

"I'm not stealing you away from Colton am I?" Joe inquired.

"Yes but he said it didn't matter, are you okay?" Joe sighed shrugging his shoulders Demi taking hold of his hand leading him into the kitchen. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"There's not much to talk about, I just need to get my mind off what's happening." Joe answered playing with his fingers as he sat sideward at the table.

"Is the boy okay?" Joe nodded his head.

"Frightened but he'll be okay, I can only imagine what kind of home he came from. He needs someone he can trust to build his confidence back up then a loving home so he can have the childhood he deserves." Joe stated.

"I'm sure he'll get that." Demi assured grabbing hold of his hand kissing his cheek gently.

"I spent the morning with him watching SpongeBob gaining his trust and he hadn't said a word to me but before he left he revealed he had a baby brother still at home." Joe revealed.

"Are the cops going over?" Joe shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know cause I'm here and not at work." Joe mumbled.

"You just need to settle down and try enjoy your time off." Demi encouraged Joe nodded his head standing up as did Demi.

"Where's the princess?" Demi smiled.

"In the living room with Colton watching The Little Mermaid." Demi answered Joe leading the way into the living room Nevaeh spotting him right away.

"Joey!" She got up running over to him Joe lifting her in his arms.

"Look at you running!" Joe exclaimed kissing her cheek gently Nevaeh grinning as she hugged him. Demi kissing her head gently.

"She's definitely getting better." Demi cooed moving some hair out of her eyes as Joe sat down putting her in-between himself and Colton so she could continue watching the film.
