Demi smiled as Joe sat down next to her wrapping his arm around her leaning her head on his chest as they watched TV. They had spent the day getting Mason's room ready for him, Joe had already called Charles and said he'd come pick the two brothers up the next morning because everything was ready for the both of them.

"So this will be my last day of peace for a while." Joe chuckled slightly Demi giggling nodding her head looking up at him.

"You'll have a baby crying and a four-year-old demanding for things." Demi answered sitting up a little bit taking hold of his hand instead.

"I don't know whether Zack will be like that for a while, it's going to take some time for him to come out his shell and realise he's not going to be hurt again and that his little brother isn't going to be in any sort of danger." Joe answered.

"That's why he needs to be fostered rather then sent to a care home, so he can learn to trust you but you must already have a little bond with him?" Joe nodded his head.

"The only time he's ever spoken to me was when he was telling me about his brother so I doubt he'll speak much until he's used to being here but I don't blame him. He's gone through a lot and he's only four, it will take time but I'm sure I'll be able to bring his confidence back out." Joe stated Demi smiling kissing his cheek gently.

"I know you will, you're so great with children." Demi praised Joe smiling too.

"Thanks, I'm just not sure about Mason. I never look after the babies. They go another ward cause they need constant care." Joe admitted.

"I said I'd help you, I'll come by again tomorrow," Demi promised. "Do you know what's going on with their parents?"

"They'll be going to court but before then I don't know, I think they're still at home so I'll have to be careful where I take the boys." Joe answered.

"I don't see how they won't go down for this, horrible people." Demi muttered but smiled as Joe kissed her gently kissing him back before they pulled away.

"Don't worry about them, you're a great mom and they aren't with their parents anymore. There's nothing to worry about." Demi smiled nodding her head kissing his cheek gently.

Joe and Demi were soon sat on the couch again watching a film as they ate the pizza they had ordered. They had enjoyed spending the day together, just the two of them. Demi could still see Joe was nervous but she couldn't blame him, he hadn't lived with children since he was a child himself but she knew he'd do great.

"If Nevaeh was a boy what would you have called him?" Joe inquired.

"I always knew I was having a girl; I never came up with boy's names." Demi admitted taking a bite of her pizza laughing when he looked at her.

"How could you have known? You're a liar." Joe accused Demi shaking her head.

"Honestly, from the twelve week scan I told everyone I was having a girl, they didn't believe me but guess what? I gave birth to a girl." Demi defended herself.

"Fluke, it was a fifty fifty chance of getting it right." Joe answered Demi shrugging her shoulders looking over at him.

"Believe what you want but I don't tell lies." Demi stated finishing her slice of pizza picking up another slice from the box.

"I wanted that one." Joe spoke looking at her a small smile on his face giving away he was joking.

"Have it then," She answered forcing it in his mouth laughing as he took the slice out of his mouth having two in his hands. "You asked for it."

"Not in my mouth." He answered laughing setting the slice on his thigh.
