Fifty Nine

Joe entered the house that night after not having such a good day. It was hard for him to keep up with his job when he knows that he won't have a job at the end of his training. He couldn't help but worry about what would come after he had finished, he wasn't looking forward to telling Demi tonight when they'd have to think what they would with their family.

"Hey Zack." Joe breathed as he ran over lifting him up in his arms.

"Daddy okay?" Zack asked.

"Yeah I'm okay buddy, just a tough day," Joe admitted kissing the side of his head. "But I'm sure a little boy can brighten my day up," Zack smiled wrapping his arms around his neck hugging him. Joe rubbed his back gently before entering the living room placing Zack on the couch next to Nevaeh where he was before then entering the kitchen. "Demetria I said I would do the cooking when I got home from work."

"I know but I was bored and I'm not even that big yet." Demi lectured back making him laugh as he wondered over kissing her gently before laying his hand on her bump.

"And how is Kai been treating you?" Joe inquired.

"I think he's napping because I haven't felt him move in a little while," Demi smiled pecking his lips gently. "But he had a good stretch earlier."

"I have something we need to talk about later when the kids have gone to bed." Joe revealed Demi taking hold of his hand.

"Are you okay?" Joe nodded his head.

"It's just been a long day but we'll talk about it later on," Joe urged Demi nodding her head rolling her eyes as he led her over to the dining table sitting her down. "I'll carry on, you rest."

"It's just a stew, there's not much to do now." Demi stated.

They were soon all sat at the table eating the Stew Demi had made and Joe had served for them all. He had served it and let it cool for a bit before they called Nevaeh and Zack to the table, Mason was eating some other baby food that Joe was feeding him as he ate his own.

"We picked a name for your baby brother." Demi revealed.

"Oh what?!" Nevaeh demanded to know giggling when Joe poked her with his foot Mason squealing as if he was demanding for more food.

"Kai James and he'll have Joe's last name which is Jonas." Demi stated.

"Kai James Jonas?" Nevaeh questioned.

"Yeah, do you like it?" Demi asked Nevaeh nodding her head a smile on her face Zack looking up at Joe who was next to him.

"I came up with the name." Zack stated.

"Well me and Demi liked the name Kai so much that we decided to use it, is that okay?" Zack smiled nodding his head.

"Why do you not pick my name?" Nevaeh pouted.

"Because Nevaeh is a girl's name and we already have one too many Nevaeh's in the house!" Joe teased making her giggle at Joe tickling her.

"Joseph not at the table." Demi demanded Joe rolling her eyes.

"Send Joey for time out!" Nevaeh exclaimed Demi laughing.

"I can't because he's feeding Mason but I'll punish him later when you've gone to be don't worry." Demi answered blushing slightly when she saw Joe wink at her which only made him smile feeding Mason a bit more of his baby food. Nevaeh looked between them before she pulled a disgusted face pushing her plate away.

"Ew! Mommy and Joey are going to kissy tonight!" She exclaimed making them both laugh Joe pulling her plate back down so she could eat up.
