Forty Nine

They both woke up to Joe's alarm going off letting a groan escape their lips Joe grabbing his phone switching it off feeling Demi move from him sitting down next to him instead as they both woke up a little bit more. Joe was the first to get up leaning down kissing Demi gently before making his way into the kitchen pouring a glass of water for them both handing Demi one once he was back in the living room taking a seat next to her.

"Sleep well?" He questioned Demi nodding her head.

"Still half asleep though." Demi mumbled taking sips of the water before setting it back down on the side next to her.

"I had a dream." Joe admitted Demi looking over in his direction.

"What about?" She asked as he took hold of her hand.

"We moved in together, all of us together," Joe admitted again. "And it got me thinking for the small amount of time I've been awake that it would be a good idea before the baby comes."

"It would be better but wouldn't you think we'd be moving too quickly?" Demi inquired wanting to be honest with him and make sure they were making the right decision.

"I wouldn't, we're already having a baby together so we kinda have to move a bit quicker than another couple would. We could always have separate rooms but I wouldn't see the point in that when we often share a bed here." Joe answered.

"No it's fine, I don't think we'd be moving too quickly. I was just wondering if you thought we were." Demi answered to a smile on her face.

"So we're moving in together?" Joe questioned Demi nodding her head.

"Seems like it, neither of our places are big enough so we'll have to start looking at somewhere bigger." Demi approved leaning over kissing him gently before he pulled her into a hug. She only smiled move laying her head on his chest. She was excited for the future with her boyfriend and children. It was an exciting time moving into a new house but she knew how stressful it could get, they would want to be moved in well before the baby was born and that going to be hard to get it all done before then.

Joe and Demi picked Nevaeh and Zack up from school in the car since it was still raining but they didn't mind. Once they got back Demi made snacks and they were all in front of the TV while Nevaeh told Joe and Demi about her day at kindergarten. Zack was quiet as normal sat up on Joe's lap while he ate his apple slices.

"That's good Nevaeh, did you have a good day too Zack?" Demi asked Zack who nodded his head gently smiling as Joe ruffled his hair gently.

"Did you make crafts too?" Joe inquired.

"Yeah." He replied.

"They are drying tonight then we can bring them home." Nevaeh explained handing Demi her plate Demi taking it with Zack's since he was done setting them on the side. Mason was sat down on the rug playing with his toys Zack now with him since he was finished eating. Zack always liked to spend time with his brother and play.

"What are you doing tomorrow then?"

"It a surprise!" Nevaeh exclaimed feeling her mom move some hair out of her face so she could see better but grabbed her phone when it buzzed reading the text before turning to Joe.

"Colton has a day off work tomorrow, he wanted to know if we wanted to go out for lunch?" Demi asked Joe nodding his head.

"Sounds good, I'll see if mom can take Mason for a couple of hours, we could visit her and dad for a little bit before we pick these up." Joe answered.

"I'll text him back." Demi stated answering to the text.
