Demi leaned down kissing Kai's head relieved that he was here with them and was well enough to be able to take his medicine through a syringe and not through an IV. It didn't feel right him being here but not with them but that was different now. She could see some features of her but she could see a lot of Joe in him, his eyes and his facial structure, he had his chin and lips. She thought maybe he'd share the same smile as his father.

"I can't believe how much he looks like you." Demi stated finally moving her eyes from her son up to Joe smiling when he pecked her lips gently.

"Is that a god thing or a bad thing?" Joe joked making her laugh moving Kai a bit so he wasn't getting uncomfortable. He was still awake looking around at his surroundings.

"A good thing for sure," Demi answered Joe laughing. "Do you want to hold him?" Joe nodded his head standing up taking Kai from her then sitting back down next to her so she could still see him. Kai whimpered slightly but soon settled down again blinking away his tears.

"He's tiny." Joe admitted.

"Yeah he's going to need to put some weight on before his clothes fit him properly." Demi stated leaning her head on his shoulder watching her son as he was fighting to stay awake. She couldn't wait to take him home so they can be a big family, things were looking better for them all. That Kai will fight his infection. He wasn't even a week old and was already fighting illness, Demi just wished she had caught hers sooner.

Joe had called all their family and friends to let them know about the good news that Kai was feeling well enough to come be with them instead with the nurses. Kevin, Nick and Colton were working but Denise and Paul were coming over with the children so they could all meet Kai for the first time even if he was sleeping.

"Hey." Joe greeted as he opened the door giving his parents a hug lifting Zack up into his arms when he reached out for him. He knew how much they had all missed him and Demi over the last couple of days while they had been away especially Demi since they hadn't seen her at all since before the night Kai decided he was coming but hopefully they'd all be home soon.

"Hi Nevaeh, have you been a good girl for Denise and Paul?" Demi questioned as she leaned over kissing her head which nodded.

"They've all been wonderful." Denise praised having hold of Mason who was looking around at his new surroundings. He would be one this coming Thursday and they all hoped to be home by then if no more problems occur.

"I'll lay your brother in mommy's arms then you can all see him." Joe stated setting Zack back down on the ground lifting Kai gently from the plastic crib since he was still sleeping, he was laid gently down in Demi's arms. He lifted Nevaeh up on the side of the bed so she could see and brought Zack back up in his arms. Denise and Paul stood in the spare spaces able to see their first grandchild for the first time.

"He's gorgeous." Denise praised Paul nodding his head in agreement.

"He definitely looks like a Jonas." Paul agreed.

"Why is he sleeping in day time?" Nevaeh inquired.

"Because he needs loads of sleep to grow big and strong, he'll be able to play when he's a little older." Demi explained.

"Kai feel better?" Zack questioned.

"Yeah he's feeling a little better but he's still poorly and needs medication to make sure he feels completely better." Joe stated kissing his head.

"When do they think he can come home?" Paul asked.

"Tomorrow with me if everything goes okay." Demi answered a smile on her face.
