11 - 3 New Friends

So if you chose to skip to this point then what you missed is that: Livi and Katie are best friends who met at an orphanage 6 years ago after their parents passed away. They live together in LA and both one day want to attend a dance academy in London. Katie has a boyfriend called Joe but recently found out that he's cheating on her so Livi has taken her on holiday to Santa Monica for two weeks, Livi also has a boyfriend called Alfie. In chapter 10 they spent the day helping out at a hug shack and loved it, so in this chapter this chapter they plan to go back and help out again...

March 2013

Katie p.o.v

I woke up the next morning having had the best sleep I'd had in about 2 weeks. Last night I didn't spent hours thinking about Joe before I feel asleep and in fact I didn't even have a bad dream. Before I had been waking up constantly in the night as I was always anxious and worried but now I wasn't any of those things and I finally had a good nights sleep.

"Morning" Livi said to me as I opened my eyes. She was sat on her bed, still in her pyjamas, on her phone.

"Morning" I replied.

"Sleep well?" She asked.

"Actually for the first time, yes. How about you?"

"No I couldn't get to sleep for ages and then I had a dream that Alfie was cheating on me and so I sat awake for ages as I suddenly started to worry."

"Livi, Alfie is an amazing guy and he would never do anything like that to you."

"But.."

"No but's" I interrupted her "I know your probably going to say that Joe is a great person yet he still cheated on me but I promise you Alfie is different and plus he would never do anything to hurt you because he knows what will happen if he does!"

"Yeah your right, I'm worrying about nothing."

"Good now shall we get ready and head down to the pier, we have a job to get to" I laughed.

"Haha yeah okay, better not be late...wait what do you mean he knows what will happen, what did you say to him?"

"Well hopefully you won't ever have to find out!" I smiled.

"For some reason I don't trust you."

"Well you should know by now that you are right not to trust me."

I pulled back the covers and checked my phone before heading into the bathroom and having a quick shower. Once I was finished in the shower I washed my face and brushed my teeth before heading back into the bedroom to get dressed. I decided on a pair of denim shorts, a white crop top and my converse. I then applied my usual makeup and braided my hair into a fishtail plait. I sat on the couch and scrolled through my twitter and Instagram whilst I waited for Livi.

"Are you ready yet?" I shouted to her.

"Yep let's go" she replied as she walked out the bathroom.

I picked up my sunglasses and put the on top of my head and then grabbed my purse and headphones from the bedside cabinet. We decided to take the elevator down to the lobby and after having breakfast in the hotel restaurant we headed to the pier.

On the way we stopped at a few shops and looked through the racks of clothes but as usual we didn't buy anything. We then took the familiar route along the beach to the pier.

"Who are they?" Livi asked.

"Who's they?" I replied slightly unsure of what Livi was talking about.

"Over there" she pointed towards the hug shack "those three boys, who are they?"

"I don't know, they weren't there yesterday."
