67 - Old Friends

Katie P.O.V

"Katie what are you up to today?" Livi asked as she walked into my room and lent on the door frame.

"Umm nothing I don't think, why?" I replied as I looked up from my laptop screen.

"Its just that I'm going out with James today and I feel bad about leaving you here on your own whilst I'm out."

"Livi its fine, go have fun with James. I'll just invite Brad round or go see George or something."

"Your sure?"

"Yes now go get ready otherwise he'll be waiting for you again" I laughed as I through a pillow towards her but she ran away before it reached her causing it to hit the door frame and fall to the floor.

About an hour later I'd finished all the coursework that I needed to do and was currently sat in front of the TV. Livi left about half and hour ago and I'd just text Brad and asked if he wanted to come over, to which he replied that he'd be around half an hour.

"I thought you weren't going to be here for another 20 minutes" I said as I answered the door to who I assumed was Brad.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked the person stood before me.

"Its nice to see you too Katie" Amelia smirked before barging past me and walking into the apartment.

"You didn't answer my question!"

"I don't need to."

"Get out" I yelled.

"Okay fine, you want to know why I came here?" she asked as she sat down on the couch.

"Yes, I want to know why you have the nerve to come here after everything you did, I don't even know why I let you in or why I'm even giving you a chance but I am so go ahead, explain yourself."

"I will but only if you promise to hear me out first."

"I'm not promising you anything" I snapped.

"Please, its important."

"Fine" I sighed.

"Okay so you know when you were younger and you lived here in the UK until you were around 5" Amelia started.

"Well yeah but how do you know that? and why is it relevant?"

"Can you just let me finish before you ask any questions?" she asked and I nodded.

"I know it was a long time ago and you might not remember or believe me when I tell you this but..."

"Tell me what?"

"This is going to be hard to explain but last October wasn't the first time we met."

"What...what do you mean?"

"You, we were best friends Katie, when you lived here and I know that you wont remember, I didn't too but that was until I began to recognise you. I started flicking through photo albums and eventually I found the one full of pictures of two little girls, that's you and me Katie. Our parents knew each other so we were friends from when we were born until we were 5 and then you left and because we were so young we forgot all about each other."

"What? No, I don't believe you!"

"Why not?"

"Because it doesn't make any sense, I know it was a long time ago but I would have remembered something like this."
