18 - Landing in London

June 2013

Livi's P.O.V

"Get up, we're leaving in an hour" I yelled to Katie who was still asleep in her room. I can't believe we're going to London together, after thinking we weren't and then suddenly we are.

"I'm getting up" she mumbled only just loud enough so I could hear. I walked round my room packing the last of my clothes that I hadn't already sent over to London. Our stuff is already in our apartment in London. We went for a place off campus so we could save money, and keep all our stuff from our place here. It's going to be weird not living in Hollywood, with the hot weather and mostly being in shorts, but I am so happy we're going to London. I would much rather be there than here, I mean, I love this place because its where I lived with my parents but I would much rather have a new start in England, leaving the past behind me once and for all. I'm sure I'll still think about it, just not as much.

"Katie!" I yelled again, dragging my bag out of my room.

"Yes?" She asked walking to her door, she was now up and dressed.

"Bag packed?" I asked.

"Almost" She smiled and walked back into her room. I looked at our apartment, it was compeletly empty now apart from any stuff left in Katies room!

"Ok, all packed up" She said walking out to join me in the living room with her bag "It's so weird to see it empty."

"I think I might accually miss this place" I smiled.

"Me too, it was our first home that we bought ourselves."

"Come on, lets go! Don't want to miss our plane" I said and with that, we picked up our bags and walked out of our apartment.

We posted the keys back though the letter box for the owner to come and get later. Then we walked outside to get in the cab that was waiting for us, the man placed our bags in the trunk of the car and then we got in the car and went to the airport.

"I can't believe we're accually doing this" Katie said.

"I know, we've talked about it for so long and now it's happening" I said as we pulled up to the airport.

"It's going to be so different."

"I know, for a start we need to buy a coat!"

"That's a good idea" Katie laughed.

"Alright girls we're here" The man said and we both nodded before getting out the car. We got our bags and went to check in. We went through check in and security before getting through to the waiting area on the other side and going to get something to eat. We had no food at the house as we'd eaten it all the night before so nothing was left. We walked to the macdonalds and ordered a big mac and a drink.

"We should really start a new diet when we get to London" Katie said as we sat down with our trays.

"We'll probably be told to" I laughed "I really have no idea on what it's going to be like."

"It's going to be so different to Gemma's classes."

"I know, but hey, we can do it! We've done everything so far."

"Of course we will, this is all we've ever wanted."

"Flight 11:02 to London is now boarding" The over head speaker announced.

"This is it then" I smiled as we got up.
