"George where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise!"

"Well why did we need to bring an overnight bag?" Livi asked.

"You'll find out soon!"

"How much longer?" I asked.

"Can you stop asking questions" George replied "I'm trying to drive."

"Sorry" Livi and I both said before slumping back down in the back seats of Georges car. Oscar then leapt from the boot over the chair and onto the backseat where he curled up on my lap.

Its now nearing towards the end of November. Its been 3 weeks since the accident and about 2 weeks since George got out the hospital. We went to visit him everyday, after our classes had finished, whilst he was there but we've only been a few times since he got back. We wanted to give him space to thing about everything that happened and to let it all sink in. The funeral was last weekend and even though George said we were welcome to come we felt like we would be intruding so decided not to. We didn't know Joey that well and hadn't even met his family so we wanted them to have their own chance to say goodbye and instead we just visited the cemetery a few days after to say our goodbyes.

"You didn't have to do anything for us George, you could of stayed home and we would of understood" I said.

"Katie its your birthday tomorrow and its Livi's on Sunday and so I want to spend some time with my girls" he replied.

"Okay, thank you" I smiled. I'd almost forgotten about my birthday tomorrow because lately there has been lots going on with George, Joey, the boys and especially the academy. We have 2 weeks left and then we have 4 weeks off over Christmas so we have a lot of coursework, exams and choreography to complete.

After about another hour of driving we pulled up in an field which contained nothing but a few hay bails and an old barn.

"Uhh George what are we doing here?" I asked as we stepped out of the car.

"Follow me and I'll show you" George replied as he passed us our bags from the trunk. I attached oscars lead to his collar before grabbing my bag from Livi and slinging it over my shoulder.

We followed him through the field over towards the gravel track which led to the barn. From close up you could see that the barn has been painted a dark shade of brown with glass windows scattered around the sides of the wood building.

"George what is this place?" Livi asked.

"If you would stop asking me questions then maybe I could show you" he replied as he pulled out a key from his pocket and turned the lock in the large glass door.

"What the...." I said as he walked into the large building and my mouth fell open. The bottom floor was open plan with a gloss white kitchen, various sofas and chairs cover the majority of the floor and in the corner is a long wooden dining table. There is a door by the kitchen which is pushed open to reveal a large bedroom and on the far left hand side is a staircase which leads up to a balcony where there are four more doors which I'm guessing leads to more bedrooms and a bathroom. Oscar ran straight into the house pulling the lead from my grip and jumped on the sofa where he curled up against the large cushions.

"George this place is amazing" Livi said.

"It is isn't it."

"Who's is it?" I asked.

"Mine" George replied "well my families, we used to come out here all the time over Christmas and the summer."

"What are we doing here?" Livi asks.
