41 - Welcome To LDA

The past few days have been pretty busy with sorting everything out for the trip to LA as well as a few meetings with Sarah about the academy. As far as our social lives go we had an amazing day with Jack and Finn yesterday but we haven't seen much of George or Brad, Connor, Tristan and James. I think Brad and I are okay now, I mean of course we aren't as close as we were but I don't think we'll ever been. Considering we've had 2 big arguments already I don't think that it's going to be as easy to forgive and forget next time.

"Katie hurry up we need to go" Livi shouted through the apartment.

"Just give me 5 more minutes" I replied as I quickly threw on some clothes.

"You better not make us late!"

"I wont!"

Today we were spending the day at the academy so that we could get used to where all our classes would be, meet some of our teachers as well as meeting some of the other people that were also joining the academy. But surprisingly I had over slept, again, and we were meeting Sarah in 15 minutes so if we didn't leave now we would be late which isn't exactly the best first impression.

"I'm done, lets go" I said as I ran towards the door still trying to put my jacket on. We pretty much ran the entire way and made it there just on time.

"Livi, Katie its so nice to see you again" Sarah smiled as she greeted us at the front entrance.

"Its nice to see you too" I replied.

"So are you looking forward to today?" she asked.

"Yes, we have been so excited" Livi replied.

"Well I hope you enjoy yourself."

Sarah handed us each a folder which had our timetables for the day and various leaflets filled with information. We then made our way towards the main hall where a talk was being held, yep that's how exciting our life is, we get to sit and listen to someone talk about stuff we most probably already know for an hour and a half.

Once the talk had finished Livi and I were split up for the next hour as she had chosen to take: The History of Dance whereas I chose Ethnicity and Religion in Dance. The class was only for an hour but everyone was so welcoming and now I just cant wait until be start in a few weeks time.

"Katie over here" Livi shouted to me from across the other side of the cafeteria.

"How was it?" I asked as I sat next to her on the table.

"It was so good and I met this girl in my class and she is so sweet and friendly, I think we are going to be really good friends."

"That's great!"

"Amelia this is Katie, Katie this is Amelia" Livi said as she introduced me to the girl who was taking a seat on the other side of Livi, I'm guessing this was the girl she was talking about.

"Nice to meet you" I said.

"You too" she replied "I've already heard a lot about you from Livi."

"Oh really?" I asked as I turned towards Livi.

"What, I didn't say anything bad?"

"Don't worry it wasn't anything bad, you seem just as friendly and bubbly as Livi described you" Amelia laughed.

"Told you" Livi replied.

"So what made you want to come to England?" Amelia asked.

"Well actually the main reason was to attend the dance academy" Livi replied.
