56 - Why Would She Do That?

Livi's P.O.V

After Katie left I didn't know what to do, this has never happened before. It has always been Katie and I. That's how everyone knows us. We've never fought, well unless things like what to watch on TV count. We are more like sisters than friends, she is my only family. But I can't believe she would do this to me. She knows how much I like James and then she goes off out with him anyways. I can't believe she would do this to me. I can't believe Jame would either. I needed someone to talk to. I got up and walked round to George's door. I knocked on it and George opened.

"Livi are you ok?" He quickly asked opening his arms. I walked over and hugged him before tears started rolling down my face again.

"George, I have a problem" I said pulling away. We sat down on the sofa and I explained everything from Katie and James, her hating Amelia and her leaving a while ago.

"George what do I do?"

"Livi, I love you and I love Katie, which is why I can't help you, you two are best friends, you need to sort this out because I'm not taking sides."

"Well thanks for the help" I nodded before getting up and walking out. Great, so George isn't going to help me. I don't know where Katie's gone but right now I am still so mad at her. I walked back into the apartment and decided to head to bed. I cried a lot before finally falling asleep.

"I can't believe she did it either, she seemed so nice" Amelia said, she came round this morning when I told her about mine and Katie's fight which was a few days ago now.

"I never thought she would do something like this, I've trusted her for years, right now your more of a friend than she is."

"Livi, you can trust me with anything, I just want to be a good friend to you!"

"Thank Amelia, you really are an amazing friend" I smiled hugging her.

"How about I go and get us some ice cream and some movies for us to watch, yeah?"

"That would be great" I nodded and she left to go to the supermarket. I stayed on the sofa and watched whatever was on. About 10 minutes later there was a knock at the door. I got off the sofa and opened the door.

"That was qui..." I started but once I saw who it was I started to close the door.

"Livi stop" James said pushing the door back opened.

"What do you want James?" I sighed opened the door again.

"I want to know why Katie is staying at our apartment saying you two had a massive fight!"

"Oh sure, she runs back to you" I said, this time slamming the door shut. I walked back to my room and flopped onto my bed crying.

"Livi, will you please explain to me what's going on?" James said walking into my room.

"How did you even get in here?" I huffed standing up and walking back into the living room.

"Well it might help if you lock your door."

"If your just going to be sassy with me, you can piss off out my unlocked door"

I shouted.

"What is up with you Livi?"

"Nothing, you're the idiot that ruined everything!"

"What have I done?" He yelled back.

"You went on a date with Katie!"

"What? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

"Oh really? Now I'm stupid!"

"No, what you said was stupid, I would never go out with Kaite, I don't like Katie like that."

"Well that's not what she told Amelia!"

"What did she tell Amelia?"

"That you two went on a bowling date alone, and when I asked why you went she said she couldn't tell me, that screams cheating to me" I was screaming at James by now yet I couldn't stop the tears falling from my eyes.

"First of all, we went bowling yes, but I never had in my mind that it was a date, we went to talk about you and second, how can I cheat on you when we're not even dating?"

"Look, I've been through this before and I don't want to go through it again, so can you just leave?"

"No, I'm not leaving!"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to, I would rather be here than back at our place with Katie. I promise, that bowling was not a date, at least to me it wasn't."

"Then what was it about?"

"You really want to know?" He shouted.

"Yes!"

"Fine, we were taking about where I could take you on a second date, if you want to go on one" he sighed "happy now?"

"Really? I asked as the door opened, it was Amelia.

"I promise, it wasn't a date" he nodded, he pulled me in for a hug and kissed the top of my head.

"That's not what it sounded like, Katie made it sound like you were on a date" Amelia jumped in.

"Well we weren't" James snapped at her.

"Alright, chill" she said putting her hands up "Maybe it's just Katie who like you!"

"I don't think Katie's like that" James said giving Amelia a weird look.

"I wouldn't be surprised" I mumbled and then he looked down at me.

"I'm going to go and get some stuff and come stay here, I think I need to be here right now" he said looking between Amelia and I.

"Ok" I said "see you in a bit."

"Bye" he smiled before walking out the door.

"Livi, you don't need Katie anymore, soon it will be just you and me and we can move on with our lives away from that bitch, you wouldn't believe the things I've heard her say" she said unpacking the bag of food.

"What things?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Where do I start" she said handing me a pot of ice cream and a spoon. This is what made my mind up about the real Katie I thought I once knew....
