Katie P.O.V
The day has finally come for me to leave for England and I don't think I've ever been this excited to go on a holiday, if that's what you'd call this. My flight was at 9 am so I had a cab come and collect me at 6 am so I could get to the airport in plenty of time and also so no one saw me leave. Not that it mattered because it's summer and we're allowed to do whatever we like but I'd rather not be questioned by random students as to where I was going when they see me walk across campus with a suitcase.
The drive to the airport went by pretty quickly and before I knew it I was at the airport and going through passport control for what felt like the 100th time this year. It felt weird to be back at the airport because I'd almost convinced myself that I would never go back yet here I am, only 12 weeks later getting ready to board a flight.
Once my flight had been called I made my way through yet another lot of check ins before finally stepping onto the plane and finding my seat. I wasn't exactly looking forward to the 23 hour flight ahead of me but Im hoping that it will be worth it.
"Passengers we are now arriving at London Heathrow, thank you for flying with us" the pilots voice came across the tanoy as we touched down in London and after collecting my luggage I just about managed to haul myself into a taxi at 1 am to take me to my old apartment.

It was very strange to be walking along the familiar hallways in the apartment building and it was even weirder to be standing outside my old apartment and not be able to just walk in because 1, i don't live here anymore so I cant just barge in, even if it is only Livi's and 2, I no longer own a key. I knocked on the door and waited for a while for someone to answer but no one did, I mean that's kind of understandable as its only 2 am but Livi isn't exactly a heavy sleeper so she can probably hear me knocking.
After about 5 minutes of just standing and knocking on the door I could finally hear footsteps approaching the door.
"What do you want?" a girl asked as she flung open the door.
"Your not Livi!"
"Obviously not."
"Where is she?"
"Out!"
"Out where?"
"Look I don't know and I don't care but she said she wont be back for a few weeks so your going to be waiting a while" she said before slamming the door shut.
What just happened? Who the hell is that and why isn't Livi here?
Still kind of shocked about what just happened I dialled Livis number and sat down on the floor outside the apartment.
"Katie I didn't know you were going to ring me today" Livi said as she answered the phone.
"Yeah well neither did I" I sighed.
"Anyways how are you?"
"Im okay just a bit tired."
"But isn't it like 12 o'clock or something like that over there?" she asked.
"Yeah but you know that I don't usually get up till now anyways and I've have to be up early for school, but anyways I think the 23 hour flight I was just on might have something to do with it."
"Wait, what..but?"
"Yes I'm in England if you hadn't already guessed."
"You are? But why?"
"You were the one who suggested that I come here" I shouted down the phone.
"Well you could have told me when you were coming" she shouted back.
