98 - Opening The Past

Livi's P.O.V

"You know you girls should come and help out at one of my lessons one day, to give you something to do as well" Gemma said as she put her bowl in the sink.

"Hey that's not a bad idea" Katie said, "We've not done anything since we've got here."

"I don't know, maybe" I mumbled looking at my breakfast.

"Well I'll let you two talk about it, see you later" Gemma said before leaving. After she left no one said anything for a bit.

"I think we should go help" Katie said standing up.

"Katie we haven't danced in ages" I said putting my bowl in the sink and walking in to the living room.

"So it's about time we should start dancing again, we've been here a month and we've done nothing! You said you would look through old photos and you haven't, you need to do something Livi."

"Yeah you're right I'm sorry, I guess I have been trying to put off this whole moving on thing or moving back... but you're right, I should look through some stuff."

"Really?! You'll look at our photos and videos?" She asked smiling and I laughed.

"Yes, if you have all the stuff I will look through our photos and videos."

"Oh my god, thank you!" Katie smiled throwing her arms around me.

"That's alright, let me have a shower and then I'll come and look at all your stuff!" I laughed while we parted ways. She went off to find her laptop and photos, while I jumped in the shower. I quickly got dried and changed before plaiting my hair to the side.

"Right, I'm ready for this" I called to Katie as I walked out our room.

"Ok, I am set up I think" She said as I walked in to the living room. She had the laptop plugged in to the TV and there was various photos spread across the floor. I sat on the sofa and Katie looked at me.

"Right do you want to look at some videos or photos first?" She asked sitting crossed legged on the carpet.

"I don't mind, can we look at things from like when we first got to London?" I asked and she nodded.

"Maybe, I should explain about how we met the boys first."

"Maybe you should explain who the boys are!" I laughed and she nodded.

"Oh yeah, well when we were in Santa Monica we met 'the boys', basically it's fours boys, who are in a band called The Vamps" She started and I nodded along, "When we met them they weren't huge but they were known, by the time we moved to England they we're growning really big over there. As the year went on the band got bigger world wide and now they're known pretty much everywhere!"

"And they are your best friends?"

"Yes, they're our best friends" Katie nodded, "When we first went to London, we had a few months before we started the acadamy so they invited us on tour with them so we could see the country" She said while fiddling with the laptop, "These are some of the photos of that summer tour." We then went through lots and lots of photos, each with it's own story behind it. Most of the pictures we were all together and I was often standing next to the same one. She never mentioned anything to do about that though.

"So that's all of the photos from that tour" She said as we got back to the first photo, "Remembering anything."

"All I thought was I can't believe how relaxed and happy I look to be with these people.." I sighed, "What came next?"

"I can show you some videos of our dance we did? That might jog some memories" She said finding a video and pressing play. Soon the screen was filled with me, Katie and 3 other girls doing this dance. We were all in time and I think it's the best I've ever seen us dance.

"Wow, we did that?" I asked and she nodded, "I can't believe that's us, we look so perfect."

"So you don't remember that?"

"No, the last dance I remember is practicing for our audition, as far as I know, we haven't even taken them yet!"

"Ok, well that's alright we've only just started" Katie said moving on to the next thing, "I know you're giong to find this one weird to look at but maybe you should look at some pictures of you and you're english boyfriend?"

"Is this the boy who I woke up to?" I asked and she nodded.

"Well, yes it is... He's very nice and you two got on really..."

"Katie" I moaned and she stopped.

"Sorry sorry! Shall I just show you some pictures? It might help?" She asked and I sighed.

"Alright fine, I will look at photo's of me and this boy" I nodded and she smiled before going back to her laptop. Before I knew it I was face to face with pictures of me and this boy I didn't know. She never mentioned any of their names to me. We looked so happy, he looked so pleased to be with me all the time. He didn't look at me like how I remember Alfie too. Alfie never looked so pleased to be with me. He looked like he was the luckiest person ever and wanted everyone to know. I know it's weird to say that about the person you're with but that person in that photo isn't me. I don't know that girl, or the boy, so I feel like I can say this stuff...There weren't a huge amount of photos but the ones we were saw it was clear we were together...

"You weren't a photo couple, you didn't really take many pictures" Katie mumbled looking through her laptop, "I'll see if I can find some more..."

"No please don't" I mumbled, "Can we stop now?"

"There might be some..."

"Katie please I can't do it anymore, I just want you to tell him to move on from me. I'm not that girl anymore, I may have been but that's not me now. Tell him I'm starting a new and he needs too as well" I said before getting up and walking to our room. I wanted to be the girl all these people know, the one who just smiles and goes along with whatever. But I don't know how to be her, right now all I know how to be is a girl scared out of her mind because everything she thought she knew isn't true and the only real person she now knows is her best friend. Which should be enough, it is enough, I just wish I knew these other people too....
