I was rudely awoken the next morning by the sound of my alarm clock beeping in my ear. It was 9 am but in LA it was only 1 am so it was definitely going to take a bit of time to get used to the time difference.

I rolled out of bed, walked down the hall towards the bathroom and jumped in the shower to wake myself up. Livi was already awake as I could hear her music playing in her room so I brushed my teeth and washed my face before walking to her room.

"When are we leaving?" I asked as I opened the door to her bedroom.

"I think Sarah is coming to pick us up around 10 so in about 45 minutes."

"Okay."

"You are going to be ready aren't you?"

"Yes of course I am" I said as I closed her door.

I walked back into my room and quickly got changed into some denim jeans, a white peplum top and my leather jacket because although it's June it's a lot colder in England than it is in LA. I applied some makeup and scrapped my hair back into a high pony tail. By the time I was finished it was only 9:40 so I decided to head to Starbucks as there was one just along from our apartment block.

I slipped on my converse and then quietly crept past Livi's room and out of the apartment. I ran down the five flights of stairs and then walked along the busy London high street towards Starbucks. I ordered a caramel frappaccino for myself and a strawberries and cream one for Livi. I payed for the drinks and then headed back to the apartment.

When I got back Livi was still in her room and I don't even think she realised that I had gone out. I walked into her room and placed the drink on her bedside table.

"When did you get this?" she asked.

"Just now, I went to the starbucks just along from the apartment block."

"Oh well thanks."

"No problem but its 9:55 so Sarah will be here any minute."

"Well I'm ready so should we head down to the lobby?"

"Yep just give me 2 minutes" I said as I ran down towards my room. I grabbed my purse and my phone and then walked towards the living room where Livi was waiting for me.

"You ready now?"

"Yep" I replied taking a sip of my drink.

We decided to take the elevator instead of having to walk down 5 flights of stairs and when we reached the lobby sure enough Sarah was waiting for us outside.

"Morning girls" she said as we walked over to her.

"Morning" we both replied.

Livi and I got into the back of the car and Sarah walked round and got into the drivers seat. The academy was only about a 5 minute drive from our apartment so I expect we would probably end up walking there when we started attending properly in October. When we reached the academy Sarah parked the car and then we begun our tour of the massive building.

It took about 3 hours to walk around the entire campus but Sarah gave us a very detailed tour to make sure that we knew everything we needed to know. We had an induction day in september where we would get to meet some of the instructors and teachers and we would also meet up with Sarah a few times before October to find out some more information about our classes but apart from that we have just over three months to explore London and the rest of the UK.

We decided to walk back to our apartment so we would get used to the route and on the way we planned to stop off somewhere for some lunch. We passed many restaurants and shops which I had never even heard of so in the end we decided to just go back to the apartment and make lunch ourselves.
