63 - Not As Planned

Katie P.O.V

"Hey Brad what's up?" I said into the phone as I flopped onto my bed.

"Well actually I wanted to ask you something?"

"Oh really, what could that be?"

"I was wondering if you were still up for a second date?"

"Yeah why not."

"Great, is tonight okay?"

"Tonights perfect!"

"Okay well I'll pick you up at 7 then."

"I'll see you at 7."

"Bye Katie."

"Bye Brad" I said before hanging up the phone.

After sitting on my laptop for a while I decided I should probably have a shower considering it was 5 oclock. After having a shower and blowdrying my hair I stood in front of my wardrobe for what felt like hours searching for something to wear. I had clothes thrown all over the place from my lack of patience and I'd wasted alot of time meaning I had less than an hour to get ready.

"Livi I need your help" I shouted.

"What with?"

"I'm having a crisis, I dont know what to wear for my date with Brad" I replied and I heard Livi come running into my room.

"You never told me ab...woah what happened in here?" she asked as she walked into my room.

"I'm stressing out, thats what happened" I sighed as I sat down on the edge of my bed and then flopped onto my back.

"Its okay we can find something" Livi replied before starting to pick up all of the clothes that had fallen on the floor.

About 20 minutes later I'd finally decided on an outfit. I opted for a grey dress with black tights and a black jacket because as its the begining of January its pretty cold outside. I then loosly curled my hair and applyed some make up and somehow managed to be ready before 7.

"Katie Brad's here" Livi shouted through the apartment.

"Okay just coming" I replied as I put on some black boots and grabbed my purse before walking out my room.

"Hey Katie" Brad smiled as I walked over to him. He placed a kiss on my cheek and wrapped his arm around my waist before leading me out the apartment.

"You look lovely by the way" Brad said as his hand left my waist and then gripped onto my hand.

"Thank you" I replied.

"Ive never seen you wear anything smart, I like it" I added and Brad smiled.

"The place we're going is about 15 minutes away, do you mind walking?" Brad asked as we walked out the building.

"Not at all" I replied.

We walked through London and I still had no idea where we were going but I didnt want to ask either. I was enjoying walking round, just talking as the sun began to set.

"We're here" Brad said as we stopped in the middle of the street.

"Wait, what? Brad we're in the middle of the street" I said looking around.

"I know but maybe you should look up" he replied and I looked forwards and above me and my mouth fell open.

"The London eye, we're going on the London eye?" I asked as we approached it.
