99 - Excitedness?

Katie's P.O.V

We've been out here for a month now and Livi and I haven't done much apart from the odd helping out with Gemma's dance class. It gets a bit boring as it just seems to be the same thing every single day, I mean we dont have any friends out here so its not as if we can go and visit them and beside Livi barely ever wants to leave the house anyways. Basically all we do is have movie days or go to the beach which makes each day go by even slower.

Considering we are here for Livi to help her try and feel more comfortable and perhaps get some of her memory back, not much progress has been made. it's almost kind of pointless us still being here because as she now knows a lot about what actually did happen whilst we were here she isn't loving LA too much anymore. Maybe it will be better for the both of us to go back home, I mean after all the doctor said that's probably what's best for her. Brad and the others keep asking me when we are coming back and I want to tell them it will be soon but honestly I don't know, it could be as soon as a week or as long as a month or two.

"So Katie do you think you and Livi will be coming to some of my classes today?" Gemma asked as she joined me in the kitchen.

"Umm I'm not sure, I'd like to but I'll ask Livi and let you know" I replied as I grabbed a box of cereal out the cupboard.

"Okay no problem, well have a good day whatever you decide to do" she said as she picked up a bottle of water and headed towards the front door.

"Thanks, you too."

After Gemma had left I made myself some cereal before heading into the living room and switching on the TV whilst I waited for Livi to wake up.

After about half an hour she finally woke up and came and joined me in the living room.

"Morning Katie" she said to me as she sat down on the sofa.

"Morning" I replied.

"Has Gemma already left?" she asked.

"Yeah around half an hour ago but she asked if we wanted to go and help her again."

"Umm maybe or we could just stay in and have a movie day" she suggested.

"Livi we've had movie days for the past 3 days, don't you want to go out or something?"

"No not really" she sighed.

"Do you not like it here anymore?" I asked hoping the answer would be yes.

"No it's not that it's just there's not much to do and I just would rather stay in."

"You know there's a lot to do back in London" I said, trying to subtly hint to her without making her angry.

"Yeah I bet there is" she replied laughing slightly.

"I've been thinking a lot about London recently and you know what the doctor said about it being the best place for you and I thought that maybe soon we could..."

"Move back there" Livi added finishing off my sentence.

"Yeah!"

"I've been thinking exactly the same thing" she replied.

"Really?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah, I mean I love it here in LA and I don't remember anything about being in London but if I lived there for so long then how bad can it be. Besides now I know about Alfie and Joe I'm kind of cautious about seeing them."

"Livi, London is the one place that me and you have always dreamed about living in and I'm pretty sure you remember that" I said and she nodded.

"If the doctor thinks it's best for me I have to trust them and I have to try because even if I don't remember it ,it's my life. Also I know you have Brad and I hate being the reason you can't spend time together, if we move back then we will only be a short distance away from them I'm guessing."

"Livi don't you ever think your the reason I can't spend time with Brad, it was my decision to come here and he understood that I needed too" I replied.

"Okay."

"I appreciate you coming here with me and now that I've had some time here I don't think it's the right place to be."

"And your sure about this?"

"Yes, absolutely" she smiled.

"Thank you so much, I promise you it's for the best" I smiled pulling her into a hug.

"Okay I trust you."

"You know that if you ever feel uncomfortable about anything you can just talk me to."

"Yeah I know that" she laughed.

"Okay good and also don't worry I'm not going to force you straight back into your old life, we will just take each day as it comes" I smiled.

"Okay well then I guess my minds made up" she replied and I just laughed.

"Let's go home" she added.

I then jumped off the sofa and ran into the spare room to get my phone. I flopped onto the bed and brought up my contacts list and called the one person I knew I would always ring first.

"Katie why are you ringing me, it's 3am?" Brad asked me as soon as he answered the phone, "we seriously need to talk about appropriate times to call if your going to be in America."

"Well about that..." I replied.

"Oh god what now?" He sighed.

"Oh charming, so I'm guessing you don't want to hear the incredibly exciting news I have for you!"

"Unless your telling me your moving back then it really can't be that exciting" Brad replied and I didn't say anything to see if he'd catch on.

"Katie?"

"Brad?"

"Are you going to tell me what I think your going to tell me?"

"If you think I'm going to tell you that I'm pregnant then yes."

"What!?"

"I'm joking, calm down."

"Don't do that to me."

"Sorry I just wanted to hear your reaction" I laughed.

"Well now your little joke is over can you tell me what your exciting news is!"

"You seriously haven't figured it out yet?"

"Well no, if I had I wouldn't be asking you."

"Okay well what did you think I was going to tell you?"

"Well for a brief moment I thought you were going to tell me that you and Livi are moving back but now I'm not so sure."

"Well that Brad is where you are wrong!"

"Wait what so does this mean that..?"

"Yes me and Livi are moving back to London, next week in fact."

"Okay this is defiantly worth being woken up and 3 am for, Katie this is so great now we can be together properly and you can go back to your old life, we all can. Hopefully this will be better for Livi too because that's the whole point of all this moving around. This is so exciting I have to to get the others and tell them, they'll be so happy. Oh and does this mean you'll come to some of the shows on our tour and..."

"Woah someone's a little bit excited."

"I am not, I have a completely normal level of excitedness."

"Excitedness? Is that even a word."

"It is now!"

"Okay" I laughed.

"But I am very happy and excited for next week."

"I am too."

"Well I need to go because I need to go wake up all the others and tell them and plus we need to be up pretty soon for final rehearsals."

"Okay you do that" I laughed.

"Oh I will."

"Bye brad."

"Bye Katie, I love you."

"Love you too" I replied and just before I hung up I could hear Brad shouting Connors name in attempt to wake him up.
