Livi's P.O.V
About 2 days ago Katie and I moved to London. Well I guess we moved back... The apartment was all set up like people had been living in it for ages, which I know they have, I just don't remember it. First going in to it was strange because I felt like I was living in someone elses space, without them here, but I'm just trying to move away from that.
"Hey Katie where are the cups?" I asked looking through cupboards in the kitchen.
"Furthest on the left" She yelled from her room and I moved over to get a cup.
"Thanks" I called back while getting a drink.
"Can you get me a bowl out" She asked walking in to the kitchen.
"Sure" I said turning to face the cupboards trying to think about which one they were in.
"Right in front of you."
"Thanks, I'll get there one day" I smiled getting the bowl out the cupboard.
"Don't worry, you'll have it in no time" She laughed pouring some cereal in to the bowl. We went and sat on the sofa with out breakfast and watched this show Falling Skies that we've been watching in America. I think we may have watched it before, but of course I wouldn't have remembered anyway. I am so sick of not being able to remember everything I've done over the last year. Everything that Katie says about it makes it sound like we had an amazing life, but the only one I remember is when I was stuck in a shitty apartment in LA with a boyfriend who I thought was amazing. I know everyone wants me to get on with my old life but I can't just act like I know these people... And I don't like the sound of hanging out with a load of people who know everything about me, but I know nothing about them... I can't do it, I just need to start a freash.
"Hey Livi, if we're going to be living here, maybe we should introduce you to our next door neighbours, only if youre up for it though" Katie said and I looked up. Next door neighbours...
"I thought we only had one..?" I asked and Katie turned to face me.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"You said neighbours, I thought you said only one person lived next door?"
"I haven't actually said anything about next door" She smiled.
"Why are you smiling..." I asked confused.
"Becuase I think you're starting to remember something" She smiled, "Can you remeber who lives next door?" I started to think, I can remember meeting someone who lives next door very faintly in my memeory.
"I don't know Katie..." I started but she stopped me.
"No come on, you know this" She said and I sat there. I looked at the door and thought about the person I remember showing up at our door. I can remember them just showing up at the door and the suddenly I knew.
"George, George lives next door" I smiled and Katie hugged me.
"Livi this is great, I can't believe you remembered it!" She squealed.
"Me either, I'm still not sure who he is but I know his names George" I smiled.
"Well, just telling you now, he's gay" She said, "The girl he lives with is not his girlfriend."
"He lives with someone?" I asked, I don't remember that...
"Yeah, Megan, she moved in with him not that long ago" Katie explained, "Shall we go meet them?"
"Do I know Megan?" I asked and katie nodded.
"Yes you do, but she's really nice and you'll really like her" Katie said and I thought for a second.
"Ok, I'll meet her, but this doesn't mean I am going to go and meet all those other boys you talk about because the thought of meeting them generally scares me" I mumbled and Katie nodded.
"Don't worry, I won't make you go and meet anyone you don't want to."
"Thank you, now let's go and see George!" I smiled and we both got up, put our bowls in the sink and made our way next door. Katie knocked on the door and soon the door was being opened by someone I soon remembered.
Hey Katie" George smiled and then spotted me behind her... He looked at Katie and she just smiled at him.
"Hey George" I smiled and Katie laughed at George's confused reaction before walking in to his apartment.
"Did you tell her who I was?" George whispered, not very quietly, to Katie as I walk in.
"Nope, I didn't say anything to her about you, you're a lucky person, she just remembered you" Katie smiled at him and he smiled turning to me.
"I've missed you this past month" George smiled walking over and hugging me.
"Aw, to be honest, I don't remember exactly what you're like but from what I can remember of you, I think I've missed you too" I laughed as he hugged me.
"You know what, I don't even care, the fact you know even the tiniest bit who I was has made my day" He smiled.
"She said she'll meet Megan" Katie said sitting down on the sofa.
"Yeah of course, I'll go get her" George nodded walking in to the back room. A dog suddenly ran out from the back rooms and started jumping up at me.
"Aww, who is this cutie" I smiled kneeling down to stroke the dog.
"That's Oscar" Katie finally answered.
"Aw, I think he likes me" I smiled at it and Katie nodded.
"He should, he's our dog" She said and I looked up.
"We had a dog?" I said shocked, "We'd always wanted one."
"And we got one" She laughed, sometimes I like finding out thing's I've done in the past year, like buying a dog, but the news isn't always as good as this!
"I feel bad..." I whispered to Katie as I sat on the floor with Oscar.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because I still don't really fully know who George is."
"Livi, even if it's the tiniest bit, you know who he is, that's all he could ask for" She smiled and me and I nodded. About a minute later George walked in with Megan in tow, or who I am guessing is megan.
"Um, I don't know how you want to do this..." George mumbled looking between Megan and I. I didn't recognise her face at all, I'd defiantly not seen her before, well of what I can remember. Megan slowly walked over to me and smiles.
"Hi, I'm Megan, it's nice to meet you" She smiled holding out her hand.
"Hi" I smiled, "Livi, it's lovely to meet you too."
"Would you like to have a dirnk? I'd love to get to know you" She smiled walking in to the kitchen part and I smiled. I suddenly felt much more relaxed. I know this whole process is very nerve racking for me but knowing I had people like this in my life, who are willing to act like they've just met me, makes me feel a bit better about it. However I guess meeting girls is a lot less intimidating than meeting all these boys that I seem to have been friends with. I don't know, but something about the thought of having a load of guys all over me saying they know me kinda sacres me. But this girl, I really like.
"I would love some water please" I smiled at her sitting down on the sofa by Katie who smiled at me.
