Katie P.O.V
"Katie, just the person I wanted to talk to" James smiled as he opened his apartment door.
"What is it you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked.
"It's about Livi."
"James I've told you so many times before that..."
"I know, I know I'm not going to ask about seeing her I just wanted to ask how she was?"
"Oh well she's good, after graduating she's had some time just to spend with her friends that she met through the academy as well as helping me out with the company when she can and next week she starts rehearsals for a dance show that's happening during December and January next year."
"That will be good for her, how is her memory?"
"Slightly better, she's fully remembered George and Megan as well as Connor and Brad and a couple weeks back she remembered..." I was just about to mention her remembering Tristan when I realised that probably wasn't the best idea.
"She remembered what?"
"Oh nothing, just something that happened a while back."
"Katie I know there's something your not telling me."
"James I..."
"Just tell me, I'll be fine with it."
"I don't think you will though!"
"Just tell me" James snapped getting impatient.
"Okay fine, she remembered Tristan okay, she saw you guys on TV and she pointed him out and started remembering things about him."
"She did?" He asked and I just nodded.
"Did she mention anything about me?"
"I'm sorry James I wish she would have but she's never mentioned anything that would indicate that she knows who you are."
"Oh right" he sighed as she sat down on the sofa. He's never acted like his before, he's always start an argument or become really angry but this time he just looked upset and fed up and I can't even imagine what must be going through his mind right now.
"Do you think she'll ever remember me?"
"I'd like to say yes but honestly I don't know James" I replied sitting down beside him.
"It's been 3 years Katie, 3 years without her and knowing that she doesn't even know I exist."
"It's also been 3 years since you made a promise to never give up on her and you stuck to that promise."
"Ill always stick to my promise but I think it's over now Katie, I'm ready to move on."
"No James please don't, she needs you still."
"And I'll still be here for her I'm just going to stop trying, I'm not going to get another girlfriend because I still can't bring myself to do that but I am going to take a step back."
"If that's what you want to do then I'll support that but the minute she mentions anything about you you have to promise to do everything you can to bring back her memory of you."
"Don't worry I'll be there" he smiled before pulling me into a hug and walked off towards his room.
"Is he okay?" Brad asked walking over to me.
"Surprisingly, yes" I replied.
"I was listening into your conversation but I didn't want to interrupt."
