31 - Summer In The City

A few days had passed since we arrived back in London after visiting Tristan's house in Devon. They pretty much consisted of movie marathons with George but we also spend a day at the zoo with Brad, Tristan, James, Connor and Emily. When I found out that she would be joining us I tried to get out of it by faking being ill but Livi forced me to go as she said I would have to get used to her being around. I tried my best to just forget about her and I ended up having an amazing day, in fact I even spoke to Emily and she is a genuinely nice person so I feel kind of bad that inside I hate her but that's only because I wished I was her. Anyways today we are heading to Summer In the City which is an event for youtubers and it lasts for 2 days and I'm so excited because I might get to meet some of my favourite youtubers like Jack and Fin, Zoella, Marcus and loads of others.

"Katie hurry up or we'll miss the train" Livi shouted at me from the living room.

"Okay, okay I'm coming" I shouted back as I quickly put my hair into a high pony tail and picked up my phone and purse.

We ran as fast as we could down the stairs because there was no room in the elevator but then walked along the street towards the train station.

"Is it just me or has that van been following us for the past 5 minutes" Livi asked.

Just as I was about the reply we heard the door slide open and someone shouted out the door to us.

"Livi, Katie" Tristan shouted as he stuck his head out the door. We turned around and walked towards him.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked.

"Well our van is fixed now and we tried to ring you to tell you that we were no longer meeting at the train station but you weren't replying" he replied.

"So you thought instead you would just follow us for about 5 minutes and make us think that someone was going to jump out and kidnap us" Livi said.

"Well we didn't intend for it to happen like that but yeah basically" Connor added.

Livi and I then stepped into the vehicle and sat down at the back with Connor.

"Do you know which Youtubers are coming to the event?" I asked Connor.

"Umm I'm not quite sure but I know that Zoella, Jack and Finn..."

"Jack and Finn" Livi interrupted him "are they seriously going to be there?"

"Yeah I think so" Connor replied and Livi and I turned to each other with huge smiles on our faces and we even screamed a little.

"I'm guessing you like them then" he laughed.

"Well you could say that but you could also say that we are sort of obsessed" I replied.

"I'm slightly offended that you watched their youtube videos and not ours" Connor said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Awhh is Condora jealous?" Livi asked.

"I didn't say I was jealous, I said I was offended" he replied.

"Well to be fair we didn't know you had a youtube channel until about 2 months ago but don't worry we still like you more" I smiled.

"Okay good and I will try my best to make sure you get to meet them" Connor said.

"You would seriously do that for us?" Livi asked.

"Of course, that's what friends are for" he replied.

"Okay now I definitely like you more" I said as I pulled him into a side hug and Livi did the same whilst saying 'thank you' over and over again.

Once we arrived at the venue we all got out the van and made our way into the building through the back door. Inside all the Youtubers were gathered in a large room where they were all chatting to each other and I'm guessing this was sort of like the waiting area.
