105 - Not A Clue

Katie P.O.V

"Morning" Brad yelled strolling in to our apartment.

"Did I say you could come in?" I asked looking up from my food.

"Well no, but I..." He started to say and I laughed.

"I'm joking."

"Thank god, I thought you were actually going to be pissed off with me" he laughed sitting down beside me, "Is Livi not here?"

"She just ran to the shop" I explained and he nodded.

"Well, aren't you going to ask why I'm here?"

"Well I assumed it was to see me" I laughed and he smiled.

"Yeah obviously but there's something else."

"Is it something I should know about..." I asked and he nodded. Shit.

"I can't believe you don't know what tomorrow is!" He laughed with slight shock in his voice.

"Ummm...."

"Don't worry you'll find out soon enough but for now I need to you pack a suitcase."

"What? why?"

"Don't ask because I'm not telling you, just pack enough for 3 days and be quick as there is a taxi coming in 20 minutes."

"Gee thanks for letting me know with plenty of time to spare" I said to Brad as I got up from the dining room table and practically ran to my room.

I pulled my smaller suitcase out from under my bed and filled it with a bundle of clothes and anything else I needed. Considering it's January it's pretty cold outside so I made sure I had plenty of jumpers.

"You ready yet?" Brad asked as he walked towards my room and leant on the door frame.

"Yep" I replied zipping up my suitcase.

"Let's go then" he smiled taking my suitcase from me and heading back towards the living room.

"Wait I can't leave without telling Livi!"

"It's fine she already knows and it's only for a few days, she'll probably get George or Megan to stay round to keep her company" Brad explained reassuring me.

"Okay well then lets go" I replied.

"After you" Brad smiled opening the front door.

After leaving the apartment we headed downstairs where a taxi was waiting to take us to wherever it was we were going. Brad put my suitcase in the boot with his and then gave the driver the address before we set off.

"So are you going to tell me where we are going?" I asked Brad.

"When you remember what tomorrow is I'll tell you but until then you'll just have to wait and find out" he replied.

The journey took about 2 hours but eventually we pulled up at Portsmouth ferry port which I'm guessing is just a temporary destination. Once we had got our luggage out the boot and Brad had paid the driver we walked over towards the large building where the reception and a cafe was. Whilst Brad went and spoke to the receptionist I sat in the cafe and orders us both a hot chocolate.

"So what now?" I asked Brad as he walked over and sat opposite me.

"Well you've probably already guessed we are getting a ferry and it leaves in half an hour."

"Why are we getting a ferry?"

"Because we can't get to where we are going any other way, any more questions?" Brad laughed.
