116 - Time For A Change

Livi's P.O.V

"I'm sorry I'm not moving in with you Katie, I wanted to but you and Brad need your space, I love spending time with you two, but you need time to be together and if I live with you, that's just never going to happen" I said placing my hand on her knee.

"We've always lived together" Katie sighed looking at me.

"I know, but a lot has changed since we moved to London and half of it I still don't remember" I smiled at her, "We'll get through this like everything else, even if we're not living together. You know it's better for me to live with Ben."

"I know, I guess I'm just not ready for our story to be over" She said and I shook my head.

"It's not, it's just expanding" I pulled her in to a hug and she laughed.

"What happens now" She asked as we pulled away.

"We start putting things in boxes" I smiled at her picking up a box.

It's been 2 days since Katie and I started packing up our apartment and it's almost empty now apart from my boxes left over. Katie and Brad moved into their apartment yesterday and Ben and I went along to help them unpack their things and put up the few bits of furniture they have. They still have a lot to do but I think they are going to buy a lot of it today after helping Ben and I and then after that will just sort it out over time.

"I can't believe we're moving out, after 3 whole years this place has become apart of us" Katie said as we both picked up a box and made our way to the lift.

"I know, that apartment felt more like home than anywhere in America" I nodded.

"Quick question, where are we taking these" Katie asked as the lift doors open and we got in.

"Ben's car, he's got a big car so us and the boxes can fit in" I laughed, "He's down there waiting for my stuff then he's going to go and get his own once he's dropped me at the apartment."

"I'll help you unpack" Katie said as we walked out the lift.

"You don't need too."

"You helped me, I want to help you too" She smiled as we reached Ben.

"Who is excited to be moving in with the one and only Ben?!" Ben asked holding his arms open.

"Not me" I mumbled raising my eyebrows and he gently hit my arm.

"Excuse me" He winked taking the box off me and putting it in the car.

"I'm joking of course I am" I laughed as he put Katie's in the car as well.

"Good because I'm not letting you back out on me now."

"Come on, I've got more boxes to come down, you can help this time!" I said pointing to Ben before walking back inside.

"Someone thinks their incharge" I hear Ben mumble to Katie.

"I can hear you" I laughed looking over my shoulder.

"Sorry!" He laughed. We did 4 more trips up and down to the apartment before we had collected all my stuff.

"I'll meet you at the car" Ben said putting his hand on my shoulder before walking to the lift. Katie and I stood in the door way and lookd in to the apartment.

"I'm gonna miss it" I nodded.

"Me too" Katie whispered before we walked out. We locked the door and made our way to the lift.

"I'll drop the keys in the box, you go to the car" Katie said as we reached the ground floor. I walked over to the car and got in the front with Ben.

"If you want to back out, now's the time" Ben said turning to look at me.

"You and me remember" I said shaking my head.

"Good" He smiled as Katie got in the back.

"Let's get this show on the road!" Katie said as Ben started the car.

"I'm dropping you two there and then getting my stuff right?" Ben asked as we made our way over to the apartment.

"Yeah, Katie and I can get the boxes up if you go and get yours."

It was about a half an hour drive to the new house and as soon as we got there Ben helped us unload the car and then went to get his stuff. Katie and I took 10 minutes to get everything upstairs and then we headed to my room. Because Ben had dropped us off and left I got first pick of the bed rooms, obviously resulting me in having the bigger one! Although Ben had said he was fine with me having the bigger room when we looked round it the first time.

"I gotta say, it's a nice apartment" Katie smiled as she helped me put clothes on hangers and put them in the wardrobe. We'd had all the furniture moved in yesterday so it would all be here for today.

"Thank you, I promise Katie it's not that I don't want to live with you and Brad" I said and she laughed.

"You're better off here, you're right, you don't want to always be around me and Brad."

"I'll still see you every day, don't worry about that" I smiled at her.

"Katie, I know we had a break through with my memory when I remembered Tristan but nothing else has happened since then, and honestly I thought that by now everything's going to have come back that would of..."

"What are you trying to say?" Katie's asked looking at me confused.

"Basically I'm saying that if there's stuff I still don't remember, I don't think I'm ever going to remember it."

"Livi you don't know that.." She said but I shook my head.

"It's been 3 years Katie, I just can't see anything else coming back now.."

"You can just give up!"

"I'm not, I'm just not looking anymore, I think I'm coming to a stop."

"But there's still things you need to remember..." She whispered and I sighed.

"I'm sorry Katie, I just can't keep living in a past I don't even remember.."

"I know it's hard for you, just don't shut it out completely" she said and I nodded, "Anyway Brad and I are coming round for pizza tomorrow, this place better be all sorted by then" Katie laughed as we hung the last piece of clothing in my wardrobe.

"Of course, our apartment will beat yours any day" I said as I could hear the door opening.

"Oh wanna bet on that" Katie laughed as Ben appeared at the door.

"Someone's room is looking nice" he smiled and I laughed before saying thanks.

"Are you ok if I head off now? Brad and I still need to finish off a few things still" Katie asked and I nodded.

"Of course! Thank you for your help, I'll see you tomorrow yeah?" I smiled hugging her.

"Like I said, Brad and I will be round for pizza" I winked before leaving.

"So, let's get this house in shape" Ben smiled.

"Well if you start your room while I finish mine we can probably then both start on the living room when we're done" I said and he nodded.

"I can't believe how this has all turned out, working together, living together, getting to perform our choreography everyday together."

"There's a lot of together's in there" I laughed and he pulled me in to a hug.

"It will be perfect!"
