Katie P.O.V
It's been a few days since the whole James and Livi drama and I've been filled in on everything that happened when the two of them were walking home. Frankly I was surprised that Livi had actually admitted to James that she liked him but now the next issue is getting him to have to the courage to ask her out on a date. I have a feeling she'll be waiting a long time.
Another issue is the fact that I still haven't got round to talking to Brad. Any opportunity I get I'm either interrupted or I chicken out but considering that we have agreed to go to LA with them I need to hurry up and resolve things. It's come to a point where I literally can't think straight or do anything because I have a constant reminder that for the second time within a 3 month period I've managed to make Brad hate me and both times have been for pathetic reasons.
Anyways last night the boys released their first ever single which is a huge deal and seems kind of surreal considering we don't really see the work side of them and to us they just seem like a group of friends. To celebrate the occasion they had a pyjama party and twitcam. I am kind of glad that Livi and I had already made plans with George because although I would have loved to be there to support them I don't think I could erase the image off them all in kids onesies from my mind. However today we are all going paint balling to celebrate the release and I am both excited and scared.
Livi and I were being picked up by James but as usual we were late so ended up running down the stairs, basically the story of our lives, and jumping into James' car so we wouldn't miss our slot at the paint balling place.
"This is going to be so much fun" Connor smiled.
"Speak for yourself, I'm terrified" I replied.
"You'll be fine" James added "just watch out for Connor, he gets pretty competitive."
"Says you, remember the last time we came paint balling " Connor laughed.
"I'd rather not be reminded of that."
"Ummm guys where are Brad and Tristan?" Livi asked.
"Shit I forgot to pick them up" James replied.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"No" James laughed "Tristan's driving them down because we won't all fit in one car."
"I thought you'd literally left them behind" Livi replied.
The drive was about an hour which meant it just gave me loads of time to become more and more worried about it. What didn't help was the fact that Connor was explaining to us what we had to do but the way he put it made it sounds like a war. I think I'll have to find a hole or a barrel or something to hide in the whole time because in all honesty I don't feel like being hit with a ball of paint that will most probably leave bruises everywhere.
"I'm a bit confused at how people find this fun" I said to Connor "how is running around a field being chased by people who are firing paint as you classed as fun?"
"It sounds more like torture to me" Livi added.
"Trust me its not as bad as it sounds" he replied.
"I think you might actually enjoy it" James added.
"We'll see about that" I replied.
Once we finally reached the paintball place, Tristan and Brad were already here so we quickly got out the car and ran inside to make sure we didn't miss all the instructions and things like that. We signed in at reception and after handing over our money we changed into these ginormous overalls and then we were handed a gun and some goggles. A man, I'm guessing the person we runs the place, went through all the safety precautions and then told us the important stuff like how to fire the fun and where the obstacles in the course were, this part I payed a lot of attention to as I was just intending of finding an obstacle and hiding behind it.
As soon as the game began I ran straight towards an upturned table and hid behind it. I didn't move throughout the entire game and barely even used my gun because no one saw where I was.
"What are you doing?" someone asked as they crouched down beside me.
"I'm hiding, what does it look like I'm doing? I replied as I turned round to face them and realised who it was "Brad, what do you want?"
"I wanted to talk to you."
"So we don't speak for over two weeks and you decide that now is the best time to try and resolve things?"
"Well I'm sorry if its taken time for me to get over everything that happened."
"And you don't think that I was upset about it?" I shouted.
"I didn't say that you weren't but at least I'm bothering to apologise" Brad shouted back.
"I've tried various times but I keep getting interrupted."
"Well no ones going to interrupt you now."
"Fine I'm sorry okay. I'm sorry I shouted at you, I'm sorry I said those things about Emily and I regret everything I said about wishing I'd never met you."
"I forgive you" Brad replied "And I'm sorry too, I got angry and I said things I shouldn't have. I never meant to make you upset or anything."
"Its okay I know you didn't mean it."
"For now could we at least try and be friends especially since we are going to LA in a few days?" Brad asked and I nodded.
Well friends is a start, at least we don't hate each other anymore.
