14 - It's Over

Livi's P.O.V

It's finally come to the time for us to leave. To be honest I am dreading going home right now, I just want to stay here and forget about everything back home. But Katie and I can only just afford to have the apartment we have.... But we can both get through this, we have each other and that's all we need. We are going to go home, maybe unpack and then go and see Alfie and Joe to tell them it's over. Neither of them really know that we know about them cheating, apart from Joe knowing I know about him.

"Katie are you ready? The cabs waiting for us" I said zipping up my suitcase and pulling it onto the floor.

"Yup, just got to pack these" she said walking out the bathroom and throwing the last of her stuff in her case.

"Let's go home then" I smiled and we both dragged our cases into the hall and then into the elevator. We got to the lobby and a man was waiting for us to take our bags. He picked them both up before placing them in the trunk of the cab and then we got in the back before driving back home. On the way home I thought I would text Alfie. He had sent a few texts but hadn't called, he was asking why I wasn't talking to him.

To: Alfie

Hey, coming home finally, meet me at the cafe just down from my apartment in an hour and a half?

I sent the text and soon after he replied with sure and asked if I had a nice time. I couldn't be bothered to reply so I put my phone away. The drive went surprising quickly and soon we pulled up outside our apartment block. We both looked at each other and sighed before getting out and collecting our bags from the cab driver.

"Thank you" we smiled and then walked inside. We got to the door and I took out a key and let us is.

"Just how we left it" Katie laughed.

"Depressed and messy" I smiled.

"Come on, let's up pack and tidy this place up a bit before we go and meet the dick heads."

"Ok" I replied before dragging my case back to my room. I put all my clothes away and any products back in their usual place. When it comes to make up or face stuff, I try to be organised... But everything else is just a mess! I finished in my room and then moved onto the lounge. I started picking up any food wrappers or rubbish we'd been too lazy to pick up before and put them in the trash. Not long after Katie came and joined me but worked on the kitchen. It took us about 20 minutes but we finally finished.

"Right, ready to go break up with Joe?!" I asked.

"Just about" she smiled.

"You'll be fine, just remember what he did to you" I said.

"Yeah I will, there's no way I'm going back now."

"Right, I better get going if I'm going to meet Alfie, good luck."

"You too!" She yelled as I walked out the apartment. I walked out onto the curb and strolled down the street. I made it to the cafe just after Alfie and when I walked in and saw him sat in the middle. Perfect!

"Hey, want your usual?" He asked as I walked over to the table.

"No I'm not staying" I said shaking my head.

"Oh ok" he said looking confused "how was Santa Monica?"

"It was great, your plan worked almost perfectly" I smiled.

"Oh, Katie still not over Joe?" He asked,

"Yeah, she hates him not but I mean YOUR plan" I said.
