Katie P.O.V
"Good morning Katie" Jake smirked as I sat down opposite him in one of the booths at Beach Shak. It was Monday morning and today I am planning on actually going to my classes which is the first time in over a week. During the past 3 weeks I have been about 5 times out of a possible 15 and I'd made up the excuse that I was ill or that I had important family buisness or my most recent excuse is that I went back over to England to visit my friends and believe it or not they bought it.
"Im not in the mood" I harshy replied as I threw down my bag and rested my head on the table.
"You look great by the way" he laughed before standing up, I flipped him off as he walked away before adjusting the sunglasses that I was currenly wearing to hide the large bags under my eyes. My hair was in a messy bun on the top of my head and I dont even think I was wearing clean or co-ordinated clothes but I didnt give a shit because its 7am on a monday morning and no one in their right mind is able to think properly at that time in the morning.
"I take it you'll be needing this" Jake said as he placed a cup of coffee in front of me before sitting back down.
"Tell me why I thought it was a good idea to attend my classes today?" I asked him.
"Because if you miss too many they will take your scholarship away, trust me on this one. Your speaking to the professional in class skipping."
"Thats what you think."
"Besides I dont really care if they kick me out, in fact I would love it if they kicked me out because then I could go back home without feeling guilty about leaving."
"And it would also mean I wouldnt have to put up with you anymore" Jake replied so I punched his arm.
"You never know, you might actually enjoy today!"
"I doubt that."
"Well your going so hurry up and drink that."
"Since when did you care so much about school?"
"Believe me I fucking hate that school but I am not getting in trouble because you've stopped going to your classes."
"Why would you get in trouble?"
"Because if people find out we're friends then they will automatically assume its my fault as its happened before."
"Well its not your fault, Ive made the decision myself to skip and your just here to keep me company."
"Gee thanks."
"Your welcome" I smiled before taking a sip of my drink and slinging my bag over my shoulder.
"Come on lets go" I said to Jake as I stood up and walked out the shop with him following just behind.

Once we reached the acadamy Jake and I went our seperate ways to our classes and my day was just as shit as the last one. Each lesson felt longer than the last and I couldnt remember any of the dance I'd choreographed so I just ended up doing nothing. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at some point and the most annoying part is that people kept asking how my holiday in England was. There was multiply times when I got very confused but then realised that that was what I had told everyone I was doing for the past week. The highlight of the day was lunch as I got to sit with Jake and although he isnt the best company, at least I dont feel like punching him in the face every time he tries to speak to me like all the others in this god damn school.
"So hows your day been?" Jake asked.
"Dont even go there" I replied.
"At least its over now."
