88 - At The Moment

Livi's P.O.V

"What's wrong?" The boys all asked at once as I walked back in to Tristan and Brad's room. I'd just finished on the phone with Katie.

"I think she's really upset..." I sighed sitting down on Tristan's bed.

"What happened?" Tristan asked as we all sat crossed legged on his bed.

"She's at home.."

"Home as in..." Brad prompted leaning forward.

"Home as in at our apartment, where my new room mate is who opened the door to her."

"Oh shit... Had you still not told her?" Connor asked and I shook my head.

"There was never a time, it's not like I could casually say 'Aw Katie I'm really missing you, by the way wanna meet your replacement?!' She'd only been gone a month."

"Yeah I guess" he nodded, "So is she coming out here?"

"She doesn't want to..."

"Wait, she's not coming" Brad quickly asked and I shook my head.

"I think everything is too much for her right now, I told her to stay at our apartment in my room, the best thing right now is for me to go home" I mumbled while standing up.

"Well if you think it's the right thing..." Tristan said as I looked over at James. He just sat there looking at the floor.

"It is" I nodded, "I'm flying home tomorrow."

"Livi can I talk to you?" James finally said something while standing up. I nodded and followed him back to our room.

"I'm sorry James" I sighed as he closed the door.

"Were you not even going to talk to me about this?" He asked walking over to the bed. He didn't seem angry, I was hoping it would stay that way.

"Katie needs me James..."

"So do we, I get you two are best friend but..."

"James she's more than my best friend, Katie to me is like the boys to you, I've found these past months really hard without her and she's not had any of us, I'm not surprised she doesn't want to come out here right now."

"Livi please, I just want to spend time with you, I miss you" he mumbled hugging me.

"I'm sorry James, Katie needs me, she wouldn't give up on me and I could never give up on her."

"I know" he nodded, "Just promise me you'll Face Time or message me."

"I promise that as soon as Katie is sorted, we will be on the next flight out here, nothing is going to stop us being together this summer, I love you too much to let that happen" I smiled up at him.

"Nothings going to stop us" he winked while whispering.

"Nothing" I smiled back before he kissed me.

"So, want me to help you pack?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I'll only take a few things back with me, I'll be back out before you know it!"

"Good, I'll be waiting!"

The flight home was as nice as a flight can get and soon I was in a taxi driving through rainy London to the apartment. I thanked the taxi driver and got out with my bag before making my way up to the apartment. It was about 11am so hopefully Katie would be awake and if not, I'll wake her up! I unlocked the door, unfortunately my room mate wasn't fond of keeping the door unlocked so I had to take my key everywhere with me now! I walked in and placed my bag on the floor, no one was in the living room or kitchen area so I walked back to the rooms.
