"So, what do you want to do today?" Brad asked me as we walked out my apartment block.

"Well we could shopping" I suggested.

"Do you really need anymore clothes?"

"Okay how about the cinema?"

"We went there the other day."

"The museum?"

"Really!?"

"Okay, you decide then!"

"Okay I will" Brad laughed as he grabbed hold of my hand and started walking through the town.

After about 10 minutes we'd reached the city centre and I still had no idea where we were going and as per usual Brad was refusing to tell me.

"Whilst we are here we might as well go shopping" I said to Brad as we walked past topshop.

"Enough with the shopping, we can go tomorrow if you really want" Brad laughed as he wrapped his arm round my waist to pull me away from the shop window.

"Why not now?"

"Because we're not here to go shopping, we're here to do this" Brad said pointing towards a rack of the Barclay's bikes that they have all around London.

"A bike ride?"

"Yeah, I thought it'd be fun."

"You know this is going to end in me falling off right!"

"You won't know unless you try" Brad said as he unlatched one of the bikes and held it upright in front of me.

"Fine" I sighed grabbing hold of the handle bars.

"This could actually be a lot of fun, we've never done anything like this before" I added as I climbed onto the bike.

"Like what?"

"Spontaneous, romantic things and by that I mean things that aren't planned so dates don't count."

"Well that's only because you hate surprises!"

"That's not my point."

"So what is your point? Do you want to do more things like this because we can?" Brad asked.

"No, that's not what I meant. I like how chilled out our relationship is, I like not making an effort and just watching films instead of doing things like this. My point was that in 10 months most couples would have been on like 40 dates and we've been on like 10. Everyone else would always try to make an effort to do something exciting even though it might not be special but we don't have to do that and that's what I love most."

"I love that about us too, plus it also means I don't have to spend lots of money on dates" Brad laughed and I playfully slapped his arm.

"I'm joking, I've probably spent the same amount as I would on dates on pizza and nandos anyways" he added.

"I say that's money well spent" I smiled and Brad just shook his head before leaning forward and kissing me.

"Come on then" Brad said as he climbed onto the bike and started riding off.

"Brad wait" I shouted after him as I struggles to get my feet on the peddles.

"Katie hurry up!"

"I'm coming" I shouted as I finally managed to start moving and caught up with him.

"The whole point of going on a bike ride together is for us to actually stay together" I said to Brad as we stopped at a crossing.

"It's not my fault your too slow."
