43 - Old Friends and Sad Memories

Today was our first day in LA and I was both scared and excited. When we arrived yesterday a few of the boys fans had found out that they were staying here and have literally camped outside the front door even after much persuasion by the manager asking them to leave. Luckily they are still unaware of Livi and I's existence and that's exactly how I plan to keep it.

We were all currently in the hotel restaurant having breakfast, well apart from James because he was at the gym, no surprise there.

"So explain to me again why your leaving us?" I asked.

"We already told you, we have interviews this morning and then a photo shoot this afternoon" Connor replied.

"What an exciting life you lead" Livi sighed.

"Meanwhile we have nothing to do" I added.

"You do realise that we have to mostly work this week whilst you get to do whatever you want" Brad said.

"But we don't know what to do?" Livi replied.

"You used to live here, I'm sure you can think of something" Tristan said.

"Go shopping, go to the beach, visit a friend" Connor suggested.

"Okay fine maybe there are things we can do" I said.

"Well we have to go but good luck with making a decision" Brad said before all 3 of them stood up from the table and walked out of the restaurant.

"For some reason it comes across that they couldn't care less that we have nothing to do" I said.

"That's because they don't" Livi replied.

Once we had finished breakfast we headed out the hotel and after much deliberation we decided to go shopping and then have lunch on the beach.

"Can we get some food now" Livi asked.

"Its only 11am" I replied.

"But we've been walking around for hours" she moaned.

"We've been here 45 minutes and have only been in two shops."

"Well that's two shops too many."

"Stop complaining and....." I started to say but stopped when I noticed something across the other side of the shop "Livi is that Linda?"

"Linda who?" she asked turning around.

"From the orphanage!"

"Where?"

"Over there" I said as I pointed towards a slightly plump lady across the store.

"Oh my god I think it is!"

"Should we go and say hello?"

Livi didn't reply she just grabbed hold of my wrist and dragged me across the shop towards Linda.

"Hi Linda" Livi said.

"Sorry do I know you?" she asked.

"Do you not recognise us?" I said.

"Wait of course I do, how could I forget little Katie and Livi?" she said as she pulled us both into a hug "well not so little anymore."

"Its so nice to see you again" I said.

"Its lovely to see you again too but aren't you suppose to be in London?"

"Well yes but our friends from England were coming over here to do some work and invited us along" Livi replied.
