25 - Who's That?

Katie P.O.V

"Hey Tris you never actually told us what we are doing for Brad's birthday?" I said as I walked over to him.

"Oh yeah well we are all going to Nandos after we leave the festival and then we hired out the pool at our hotel and have invited a few people for a pool party."

"A pool party?"

"Yeah, why is there something wrong with that?"

"No its just that pool parties here are a lot different to the ones back in LA."

"Yeah your right, we definitely throw a better pool party!"

"Oh we'll see about that."

"Trust me you and Livi will love it, where is Livi anyways?"

"Over there with James" I said pointing towards Livi and James who were sat together on a picnic blanket.

"What is up with those two?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well its obvious that they like each other but they are too afraid to admit it."

"Don't worry I'll get it out of Livi and then we can work on getting them together."

"I think we have a plan" Tristan replied as he high fived me.

"So where are Brad and Connor?" I asked.

"Well Connor is with Joe and Dean helping pack up all our things and Brad is over there I think" Tristan replied pointing towards Brad who was stood talking to this girl.

As I saw him laughing and talking with this girl I couldn't help but feel almost uncomfortable and turned away from them. Something came over me as I saw them standing close together and I didn't like it one bit. I had no idea why I felt like this but I shook it off and carried on talking to Tristan.

"So how long until we have to leave" I asked.

"Not long, about an hour or so."

"Okay well I might go and help Connor then because I don't really want to interrupt Livi and James."

"Oh so do you not enjoy spending time with me?" Tristan asked looking slightly offended.

"No of course I do, your like the brother I never had."

"And your like the sister I never had" Tris replied pulling me into a hug.

"Wait I thought you said that you have a sister."

"I do."

"Well then how am I like the sister you never had?"

"Oh umm, well then your just like a sister."

"Okay Tris" I laughed.

"Hey guys what you talking about?" Brad asked as he walked over to me and Tristan joined by the girl he was speaking to earlier.

"Oh nothing just stuff" Tris replied.

"Well I'm going to see if Connor needs any help I'll see you in a bit" I said before quickly walking away. I felt so uncomfortable and almost angry as soon as Brad and the girl walked over. I had never felt like this before around them, they were all like my brothers but all of a sudden I couldn't be around Brad without feeling like I was going to explode. Maybe it was just because he was with that girl but why was I all of a sudden feeling like this?

"Hey Connor, need any help?" I asked as I walked over to where he was loading up a van with all the equipment from the stage.

"Oh hey Katie yeah that would be great."
