Livi P.O.V
"That's us" Katie said as our flight number was called. We got up and handed our tickets over before making our way on to the plane. We found our seats and sat down.
"Thanks again" I said to Katie as we settled down.
"Stop saying thank you" She laughed, "It's not like I'd leave you to come here alone."
"It just means a lot to me that you understand all this, I'm really sorry for you having to leave those boys."
"They understand, they want you to get better!"
"Yeah but, you like one of them don't you?"
"Yeah, I do. I went out with one of them but then we broke up."
"What happened?"
"Shall I explain some more about what happened this year?"
"Yes please" I nodded and then Katie began to tell me more about the things I'm missing.
"When we got our scholarships to our schools, you got in to London and I didn't, I got in to New York. When we were getting ready to leave I receive a letter from the London school saying that before my parents had died they had sorted out for me to go there when I was old enough. So we both came to London, we'd met those boys in America on holiday, the same holiday you found out Alfie cheated on you, so when we got there they took us on a tour of the city. We spent most of the summer with them before starting at the school. They are in a band. You got close with one and I got close Brad. We both started dating them and everything seems pretty good. Then I found out that my scholarship was only a 6 month one to see if they wanted to keep me on. They wanted to but there was no space, so they sent me to Australia. I left and Brad and I broke up..."
"You've been living in Australia?" I asked shocked and she nodded.
"You came out to visit when the boys were going there."
"So, you still like Brad then?"
"Yes, when you were in Australia we had a chance to talk, he asked that when I moved back to London we could pick up where we where when I left, back together."
"But I'm stopping you from going back to London?"
"No, if we weren't going to America I think they'd make me go back to Australia... I want to be here with you Livi, we're nothing if we aren't together!"
"How did I ever live without you?" I laughed and she smiled.
"Because you have an amazing guy back in London who you mean the world too!"
"Katie, I know you want me to meet this band, but right now, I just want to feel normal again and not like a stranger in my own body."
"I know and I understand that, but even if you remember it or not, it still happened. I'm not trying to pressure you in to meeting them, I'm just trying to help you by reminding you of it."

"So, where are we going?" I asked Katie as we exited the airport.
"We are staying with Gemma, I called her before we flew out here."
"What our teacher?"
"Well our old teacher, we've not seen her for a year."
"Oh yeah, wow this is going to take some getting used to..."
"Don't worry about it, you'll get there" She smiled and we got in to a taxi. The drive went by really quickly and before we knew it we were pulling up outside Gemma's house.
"Girls" Gemma smiled walking out her house as we got out the car.
"Hey Gemma" Katie smiled going over and hugging her.
"It's so good to see you, we have so much to talk about!" Gemma laughed before walking over to hug me. We grabbed our stuff out the taxi and then made our way inside. Gemma showed us to our room and then got us both a drink.
"I couldn't believe it when I found out you'd got in to London" Gemma smiled, "I'd tried so many times to tell them to offer two places but they kept saying they only had 1 place available to give!"
"Well, my parents had actually sorted it out before hand" Katie explained, "However it didn't turn out to be what we thought it was."
"Do you not like London?"
"Oh no, it's amazing, Livi and I loved it, it's just my scholarship wasn't a perminant one, I got transfered to Australia" Katie said and then soon the story was being told. I'd kind of known what had happened from the plane over but there was still so much I didn't know.
"Wow, so you girls have really been through it all" Gemma said after her and Katie had had a bit of a catch up.
"Well, it's all been a bit crazy over the last month" Katie nodded.
"How are you both, after the car crash?"
"Things could be better" I sighed.
"Livi, you know everything will work out right?" Gemma said coming to sit by me.
"Look I know your trying to help and I know that it probably will get better, but I just feel like I need to restart my life."
"Restarting your life is not what you want to do, trying to rediscover your real one is the best thing to do."
Yeah I've been told" I mumbled, "I'm just not comfortable with being around a load of guys who are going to act like I'm their best friend and even one of their girlfriends! I only just found out that Alfie cheated on me, and it happened a flippin year ago!"
"Livi, we're not saying you should go back there and act like you remembered this past year and a half, just that you shouldn't run away from it"
"I don't want to run away from it, I just want to adjust to everything right now."
"I think the best thing to start with is just looking over old photos or things that you have, not today or anything but maybe next week or something?" Gemma suggested and Katie nodded.
"That sounds like a good idea, I can get some stuff sent over from our flat to look over and I've got plently on things on my laptop we can look at."
"Yeah I guess thats a good idea" I nodded, "I do want to sort this out."
"We will Livi, we just have to give it time" Katie smiled putting her arm round me.
