70 - Let's Do Something

Livi's P.O.V

"So where are the boys?" I asked sitting on the kitchen counter.

"Connor's gone to a concert and Tristan and Brad went shopping" he explained while leaning against the counter opposite me.

"Aww, did they not ask you to go?" I winked and he laughed.

"No they did actually, I thought I would do something with you."

"Let's do something then!"

"You know I've never seen you dance" he suddenly said.

"If you're suggesting I dance, I'm not going to."

"Why not? I don't know if you're any good!"

"And I guess you'll never know."

"So I'm never going to see you dance, ever?"

"Fine, there's a showcase at the academy at the end of the year, I guess you could come to that."

"Why didn't you tell me about it before?"

"Because I didn't think you'd be able to go, or you would say you could and then turns out something with the band comes up and you wouldn't be able to make it" I shrugged.

"Oh" he nodded.

"It doesn't bother me!" I quickly said, which was true, I'd much rather he was with the band doing what he loved.

"I know, I just wish I could be able to say that I could come to these things, you get to see me doing what I love, I just wish I had the time to see you do what you love" he sighed.

"We have time now."

"So you'll dance!" He smiled.

"No! But I will teach you how to dance" I smiled.

"Sounds goo..."

"But you have to teach my how to play something on the guitar" I said jumping down from the counter.

"Deal" he smiled and then I taught him how to dance... Ok well, I tried, but he wasn't doing very well!

"I'm a natural" he laughed after I'd given up.

"That is not the word I'd use" I laughed as he picked up the guitar.

"Well, let's just see how good you are at this!" He laughed and handed it to me. He showed me the chords for somebody to you.

"Ok, so you're not that bad at guitar" he smiled getting up and getting another guitar.

"It's a few chords, I think anyone could play it if they tried" I smiled as he sat back down.

"Ok well, you play that and I'll play the melody, ready?"

"Go for it!" I smiled and he started to play along to my chords.

"See it sounds like it" he smiled, putting his guitar down and then Oscar jumped on his lap.

"I like how you bring Oscar here, why didn't you leave him at home?" He laughed while playing with Oscar.

"Katie's doing coursework so I said I'd bring Oscar with me so she didn't have to worry about him" I said standing up "And we need to walk him."

"I know a really good walk, we'll have to drive a bit though" he said and I nodded.

"Let's go!" We grabbed Oscars lead and both got a jacket before heading down to James' car.

"Katie and I really need to look into buy a car" I said as James started driving.
