84 - End Of The Year

Livi's P.O.V

Finally the school year is closing for the summer and I am in the best mood possible as it means I can spend way more time with the boys, George, Megan and of course James! I had finished all my work and had only been going in to practise for what was coming up today, the end show case. We were performing outside the front of school on a stage that was set up so family and friends could come and watch us. George and Megan both said that they wanted to come and watch me and I was really happy they were going to be there. However there was a small bit of disappointment that James couldn't be there. Of course I'm not disappointed with him, it would have just been nice if he could have come but I understand why he can't. I went down to school early this morning to meet up with the people from my dance group. There were 4 girls Molly, Ella and Ivy who I was sort of friendly with, and myself, and 5 boys, this was the first time we'd really properly danced with them as we'd been working on solo things. We were practicing all morning so that's what I'd been up to.

"Your dance looks amazing" Sarah smiled walking in to our practise room.

"Thanks" I smiled back, "We've been working really hard."

"I can tell, are your friends coming today?"

"Well, my next door neighbours are but if your talking about the band I'm friends with, then no, they couldn't get today off work" I shrugged.

"I'm sorry Livi, I'm sorry Katie can't be here either."

"Yeah well, so am I" I mumbled before walking back over to the group. I didn't mind that Katie couldn't be here because she has her school and I mean you know, she's in a different country! I just don't like it when the school try and act all sorry that she's not here because if they were sorry, they would have thought of a way for her to stay. I've had so many people come up to me and say, 'I'm really sorry Katie had to leave, she was such a good dancer...' If they cared so much, why isn't she here now?

"Livi" I heard someone say snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry" I mumbled walking closer to the group.

"We were just saying we think we're ready to go so we were going to head out for some lunch, want to join?" Ella said and I nodded.

"Sure" I smiled and we all grabbed our stuff before heading out to grab some food to eat outside. We all ended up with take away salads or something and sat down on the grass in a park.

"I can't believe it's first year over already" Molly smiled and everyone nodded.

"It's gone so fast, I can't wait for next year" one of the boys Lewis added.

"Honestly, I want the summer to last for a long time" I smiled and they all looked shocked.

"You aren't looking forward to coming back?" Ivy asked and I shook my head.

"No I am, I just want to be able to spend time with everyone I don't see so much anymore" I shrugged, "I love coming to school with you guys, but I miss the very few people I call family!"

"Is Katie coming back?" Ella asked and there was a silence. The truth is, I have no idea what's happening when Katie finishes, if she's coming here or we're touring with the boys or maybe she will want to stay where she is. I really hope its not the last one.

"I don't actually know.." I mumbled, "I hope so."

"If she does, give us a ring, we can all have a catch up" Molly smiled and I nodded.

"I will" I smiled back and then finally the conversation shifted.

"Ok George, thanks for ringing me" I laughed down the phone. George had called me just to clarify that they were here and in their seats.

"I just wanted to make sure" he laughed, "Is there any free food?"

"No of course there's not" I laughed, "Why did you think there would be?"

"I didn't! That's why we brought our own popcorn."

"Well, that's fine with me as long as you don't throw it at the stage."

"Aw, why do you have to ruin all my fun" he moaned and I laughed.

"I need to go George it's starting soon" I laughed.

"Okay, Megan and I both say good luck!"

"Thanks, I'll see you after the show" I smiled before hanging up. I was called over back stage for a talk about how we were starting soon and we should all know what points we come on at. I was on about half way through. Well there wasn't many performances anyway but I was in the middle. The dances went by in a flash and soon I was taking my place on the curtain shut stage. We all stood still in our positions as the curtains opened and I heard George whooh. The music started and then the rest went by in a flash. It went exactly how it had every other time and there wasn't a single mistake. Once we were finished the audience erupted with cheers and we all smiled before walking off the stage. We all had a group hug as we stepped off stage and exchanged you were amazing and no you were perfect!

"You were truly amazing out there" someone whispered in my ear placing their hands on my hips.

"James" I smiled completely shocked yet full of happiness at the same time as well as pulling him in to a hug, "What are you doing here?"

"I know how important this was to you, I wouldn't have missed it for the world" he smiled hugging me back.

"I can't believe you're here" I smiled up at him and he smiled back.

"You are such a talented dancer" he said, "I'm not the only one who made it either."

"What?" I asked raising an eyebrow and James pointed behind me. I turned around and George, Megan, Brad, Connor and Tristan were all stood by the door.

"You all came?" I asked smiling, that was directed to the other 3 boys!

"Of course we did" Connor smiled as I walked over and hugged them all, "Megan would have killed me if I had missed this."

"Well thank you Megan! Thanks all of you, I really can't ask for better people to be in my life."

"Oh god, it's getting a bit deep in here" Tristan laughed, "Are you free to go?"

"Who cares!" I laughed, "Where are you taking me?!"

"Hum, how does paint balling, nandos and movie night sound?" Brad asked as I picked up my bag.

"It sounds like we should be getting out of here" I said as we walked towards the door. Just as I was about to leave Sarah called my name.

"Livi, is this your band?" She asked and we all stopped.

"They aren't MY band, but yes this is Connor, Brad, Tristan and James" I said pointing to them all.

"Her boyfriend" George winked at me and I hit his arm.

"That is unimportant information right now" I mumbled at him.

"You know the show hasn't finished right" she said looking at us all.

"Yeah I know, it's just I'm finished and I really wanted too.." I started but she stopped me.

"I never saw you leave" she smiled, "Have a good time Livi, enjoy you summer break."

"Thank you Sarah, I'll see you at the start of next year."

"I do hope so!" She laughed as we ran out the door. The rest of the day was a lot of fun. But also wore us all out and ended up with everyone crashing in either mine or George's and Megan's apartment!
