A/N: Hi :) Sorry I haven't really posted up any chapters recently! It takes time to write a few at a time because I like to write and post up a few chapters at a time so you have more to read instead of one chapter. Please leave comments if you have any, anything really helps me. :) thank you for taking time to read my story :3
"Elsa, please don't leave!" Anna pleaded at the front castle doors. "You're still not fully healthy."
"I feel fine... I'm leaving, Anna. Hans will take care of you if he has to and only if Kristoff won't be here. I'll be back in a few days time." She said from on top of her horse, Bastille.
"Where are you going?"
"I don't know... Wherever I take myself, I guess. I have a small pouch of gold so I should be okay."
"Please be safe." Anna said after a little while of silence. She accepted that her sister was leaving and she had to accept that sometimes she would need her space and time.
"I leave Arendelle in your hands while I'm gone, Anna." Elsa said and clicked her heels against Bastille and rode off towards the forest. She fast through the town and made it to the edge of the forest in no time. She decided to ride through a small trail through the forest that was made by the moutain men and made sure to ride fast, the faster she got away the better.
She arrived later at the other edge of the forest and at the start of a large lake that led straight across to another kingdom named Trasyn. She had only been there once when she was young and with her parents, before Anna was even born. She hopped down from her horse and closed her eyes, she took a small step on the water, spredding ice around her feet. She smiled to herself and began pulling Bastille onto the ice. Bastille kicked himself up into the air on his back legs and tried pulling back towards the land.
"No, no boy. Calm down." Elsa said and laid her hand on his muzzle area. "I've got you. I won't let anything happen to you." She whispered, slowly calming Bastille. "Good boy." She said and pulled a carrot out of the satchel she had slung over her shoulder. Elsa slowly began walking over the water, taking small steady steps so she wouldn't fall in or Bastille. "Good boy." Elsa said soothingly again, watching her feet and the ice that was spreading across the water around them but wasn't freezing over the whole lake thankfully.
Before she knew it Elsa touched grass and smiled to herself for making it across okay. Anytime she was able to use her powers for something beneficial it made her feel much better about using them. She stepped back onto the grass area, pulling Bastille up onto the land with her.
"You did so good Bastille!" She said and kissed his muzzle area. She held onto his reins and walked back to the lake. She held her foot over the closest ice mass and put her foot down on it, feeling her powers run through the ground and up into the water. Slowly the ice began melting and it was creeping its way back to Arendelle, slowly disappearing and getting rid of any trace of Elsa.
It was becoming later in the day, almost dinner time, by the time Elsa was nearing the main village and market that was here in Trasyn.
Elsa walked up into the chaos of the market area and felt out of place, it was so dark and depressing here. It was nothing like the bright and cheerful Arendelle. She looked around for a small bakery or maybe a small food stand.
"Excuse me, sir?" Elsa said and tapped a man on his shoulder. He turned around slowly to her and glared down at her with his shallow blue eyes.
"What do you want?" He asked angrily.
"Are there any places to get something to eat around here?"
"You don't live here?" He asked, a small spark coming to his eyes.
"N-no." Elsa said, taking a small step away from the man. "I... I should go. I have to go." She stumbled with words and tried making her way around the man. She could feel her hands become tingly with fear.
"Aw, sweetheart, you don't have to go so soon. You just got here. I'll show you around." He said, grabbing Elsa's arm tightly and pulled her back to him. "I've never seen anyone quite like you."
"Let go of me!" Elsa screamed but no one around them seemed to care or wanted to help her. "Let go!" She said, briefly thinking to use her powers but she didn't want to hurt him or anyone around them.
"Come on, sweetheart. I'll make ya something nice at my house." He said and started pulling Elsa away.
"Let the woman go." A man said and stood in front of them on a tall caramel colored horse. Elsa quickly turned to see him and was completely surprised to find a man who looked very similar to Hans. This man's face wasn't as long but he had auburn colored hair, striking green eyes and pale freckles spread across his nose. "Let her go." He said sternly then looked down at Elsa.
"What are you gonna do, pretty boy?" The man asked him then laughed obnoxiously at his own joke.
"Sir, I highly suggest you let the queen of Arendelle go. I am also Prince Alan of the Southern Isles and that's even more of a reason to let her go... But if that's not I can happily get my father, the king of the Southern Isles, to come and take the queen from your grubby paws."
"Fine, fine." He said and pushed Elsa away, causing her to fall to the ground.
"Queen Elsa, are you okay?" Alan asked and hopped down from his horse, he picked Elsa up quickly and put her back on her feet.
"You can just call me Elsa, but yes, I'm fine." She said and wiped her dress clean from dirt. "Thank you for saving me from that man."
"It's no problem at all. I recognized you from a painting I've seen and remembered that you're the queen of Arendelle."
"Where did you see this painting?" Elsa asked, giving him a strange look.
"My brother, Hans, brought it home years ago. It's a beautiful painting."
"I know Hans. He's staying in Arendelle now... I wonder where he got the painting."
"Yes, I know." He nodded. "I think he bought it from an artist that was painting you."
"You look very similar to him."
"I'm the second to youngest brother, everyone always thinks we're twins but I don't see much resemblance." He shrugged. "What brings you to Trasyn?"
"I needed a break from Arendelle." Elsa said and let out a small sigh. "Why are you and your father here?"
"Oh. He's not... It's just a good threat to make. I'm here visiting and also needed a break from the Southern Isles."
"I see. Well, it was nice to meet your acquaintance and thank you very much for saving me." She smiled and pulled out a small, leather pouch of gold from her satchel.
"You're going to get robbed, please let me find you a place to sleep tonight. It's too late to go back to Arendelle. It'd be rude of me to not help you."
"Oh," She said and slipped the money back into her satchel. "Thank you, Prince Alan."
"Please call me Alan." He bowed his head and hopped up onto his horse. "Please follow me." He said and waited for Elsa to get up onto her horse.
