"I don't have any clue of who she is with." Silas rambled to his fellow councilman, Harold. He was an older man in his sixties who would take Silas' place once he passed. "She wouldn't tell me last night. I tried slipping her a drink to maybe get her to talk but she wouldn't have one."
"She's different than most queens. She's too smart for our own good." Harold muttered. The rest of the group was talking quietly to themselves, completely unaware of their talk.
"Queen Elsa." A guard announced and Elsa waltzed in and in followed Hans behind her.
"Prince Hans?" Silas asked aloud and he exchanged a look with Harold. "I knew it!" He said and smiled, clapping his hands lightly. "Please, please. Sit down!" He said and gestured to two seats in front of him. Hans and Elsa looked to each other briefly then decided to sit in the seats he suggested. "Let's get down to business. I'm quite happy that you're the lucky guy with our queen. You'll be our king and a great one, Hans!" He grinned and Harold gave him a weird look but went along with it. "May I call you Hans?"
"That's my name." Hans shrugged and looked over at Elsa with a small smile. "May I ask why you're so excited?"
"We have a wonderful king that will rule our country! What could be better?"
"Elsa will still be queen and have as much, if more, power than I will."
"Of course." Silas nodded slowly and his smile faded into a small line. "When could we have the wedding? We prefer soon if Elsa would somehow pass in the near future."
"I suppose you could give us the days then we could plan accordingly?" Elsa suggested but Silas only looked to Hans. "Silas, I'd like to kindly remind you that I am still queen and Hans is still a prince, not to mention a prince of another country. So, could be so kind as to acknowledge me too?" She asked and all the heads turned, some even gasped at her. "I'm not trying to be rude but I'm the queen and the wife, I'd like to be in this too."
"Of course, your Majesty. My apologies." Silas said and slightly rolled his eyes. "It's what... The twenty-fifth of August? Yes?" He asked and looked over to a younger, smaller man cowering beside Silas.
"Y-yes, sir." He stumbled and smiled apologetically to Elsa.
"Then let's have it September... What day would be best for you?"
"Any day-" Hans started.
"As long as we have time to plan it all." Elsa said and Silas nodded and wrote in scribbles on a pad of paper. "The first of September should suffice then."
"That soon?!" Elsa asked and looked over to Hans then quickly to Silas. "That's barely any time. It's only a week!"
"It's enough time for a secure kingdom, yes?" Silas looked up at Elsa then back down to his paper, writing more useless things. "I'll have the best planners for the wedding. You tell them what you'd like and we'll make it happen." He said and looked up at Elsa, lightly tapping his pen on the table. "Does anyone know of your engagement?"
"Only my family." Hans said.
"Anna and Kristoff, too." Elsa added and looked irritatingly over at Silas.
"Yes, of course." Silas nodded and looked over at Harold. "Please go speak to Weston and have him come in to start the wedding plans immediately."
"Yes, sir." Harold nodded and bowed his head to Elsa then left quickly.
"We'll have Weston take care of everything. The council and I have to go now, important papers to create up for your wedding contract." Silas nodded to the group and stood up, grabbing up all of his papers and laid them into a briefcase. "Thank you both for coming down though."
"It's no problem. Could Hans and I have a moment alone please?" Elsa asked and looked over to Hans. "Let's go over there." She pointed at the back window in the room, farther away from Silas and the rest of council.
"Of course. We'll be leaving and Weston will be in shortly, I'm sure." Silas said. Elsa and Hans stood from their chairs and crossed the room together to the window and looked out onto the water surrounding the castle.
"I don't like the way they're acting." He said before she started.
"Me either." She said and looked over his shoulder to see them walking out and closing the door. "They're finally gone." She said and visibly calmed down. "I've met Weston before, he's wonderful." Elsa smiled and remembered the bright and cheerful Weston helping out with Anna's wedding.
"I just want to get back to the bedroom and lay down or something."
"Elsa, darling!" Weston sung and flew the door open, making Elsa and Hans jump at his entrance. "Oh my goodness! You two are adorable together!" He said and ran over to Elsa, grabbing her shoulders and kissed both of her cheeks then looked to Hans. "Hello, I'm Weston. And you are?"
"Prince Hans." Hans replied back, looking weirdly between Elsa and Weston.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Weston grinned and ran a hand through his bright blonde hair. Weston was shorter for a man, about the same height as Anna, and had curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes. "Let's get talking about the wedding." He said and grabbed Elsa's hand, dragging her over to the table and sat her down, taking a seat across from her. Hans took his seat beside Elsa and watched Weston curiously as he looked through different papers.
"Queen Elsa!" A guard bursted through the door and was breathing quickly, his eyes were practically bulging out of his head. "There's been an accident. Please come quickly." Elsa stood quickly from her chair and looked to Hans.
"You stay here, I'll go." Elsa said but Hans stood from his chair and looked down to Elsa.
"Please, ma'am, it's urgent." The guard said and Elsa looked frantically up to Hans.
"I love you, be safe." Hans said and kissed her quickly before she left with the guard. Hans stared at the door for a second then sat down in his seat, looking over to Weston. "I hope she's okay."
"Me too, sir." Weston nodded slowly and looked down at the papers.
"I'm actually quite happy she left... I wanted to plan the whole wedding to be a surprise and our new bedroom design too."
"Ooh! How exciting!" Weston grinned and clapped his hands together cheerfully and flipped through the magazine and found different pictures of settings they could get married at. "There is a garden setting, the beach, a church in town, the castle if you'd like, and that's about it."
"I think Elsa would like the garden one the best." Hans nodded and looked at the different photographs. "What else needs planned?"
"Much more. The tables, table cloths, plates and silverware. the center flowers for the tables. The decorations... There's so much." Weston said and Hans sighed loudly and they started off with the tables and everything that went with them.
