Kristoff returned quickly and ran up to Elsa's room with one of the best doctors in Arendelle, Dr. Parson. He checked Elsa while she was still passed out and retrieved a few different bottles from his medicine bag but decided on a gray one. He examined her over once more, checking everything twice to make sure he was correct.
"She has food poisoning but it's not from a person or she would dead by now." Dr. Parson said and looked up at Anna and Hans. "She'll okay in no time. She just needs to take this pill," He said and handed Anna a dark gray pill bottle. "At least twice a day. It doesn't matter when, just as long as they're taken at two different times." He said and looked down at Elsa. "She'll be vomiting quite a bit and that's only from her stomach trying to push the poison from her system. She might become cold, colder than what is normal for her, and could have a fever."
"Thank you very much, Doctor Parson." Anna smiled and sat the pill bottle down on Elsa's bedside table.
"I suggest keeping at least one person, anyone really, in her room at all times just in case if she would need something."
"Yes, sir." Anna nodded, taking all this down mentally.
"If she gets worse please come and get me. I do hope she gets better." He said and nodded at Hans then Kristoff. "Goodnight to everyone." He said and left the room. Once he was out of earshot Anna sighed loudly and plopped down onto Elsa's bed.
"I say we take turns being in here, between you and myself." Hans volunteered. He walked over to the fireplace and poked and prodded at the wood to keep the fire going. "I'll take the night shifts so you can sleep so your baby is healthy and you're refreshed. While I work you or a servant could keep an eye on Elsa."
"I can help whenever I need to." Kristoff said and stood near the doorway.
"I need to go rest soon." Anna said and laid a hand on her stomach.
"I'll stay here with her." Hans said and walked over to a large, leather chair. He lifted it and brought it over beside her bed. "I don't want to intrude in on her space with she rests." He explained when he received a weird look from Anna.
"Come on, Anna. Let's get you to bed." Kristoff said and walked over to Anna and lifted her up from the bed and onto her feet. "Thank you, Hans, for watching over Elsa. If you need anything I'll always be able to come help." Kristoff said and took Anna's hand in his.
"Goodnight, Elsa." Anna mumbled. They left the room and Hans could hear their footsteps walking farther away.
Hans stood from the chair and grabbed a large blue blanket that laid on the edge of Elsa's bed and covered her sleeping body.
"Sweet dreams, Elsa." He said and bent over to kiss her forehead. He kissed it softly and felt the coldness of her forehead.
Hans looked around the room once he tucked Elsa in and tried finding something to occupy himself. He ended up finding a book that had a bookmark in it on Elsa's bedside table. The title of the book was The Widow's Tale, he flipped to the first page of the book, making sure not to disturb Elsa's bookmarking.
_________________________Around nine the next morning Anna slipped into Elsa's bedroom and found Hans sound asleep with a small, black book open on his chest and Elsa was still asleep.
"Elsa." Anna muttered and walked over to her bed and tapped her arm. "Wake up, sleeping beauty." She whispered and watched as Elsa stirred in her sleep then turned over and looked at Anna.
"Anna?" Elsa said and sat up in her bed, stretching her arms out. "What happened?"
"You're sick but we had Doctor Parson check you and you should be okay." Anna smiled and sat beside Elsa on her bed. Elsa nodded slowly and looked over at Hans and laughed.
"What's he doing here?" She asked and crawled to the edge of her king sized bed and grabbed the book from him. "He was reading The Widow's Tale." Elsa said and closed the book then set it on her table. She smiled at the sleeping Hans and admired how adorable he looked sleeping.
"He was supposed to be watching over you if you needed anything." Anna shrugged.
"He's doing a fantastic job." Elsa said sarcastically and they both giggled, still not waking Hans. "He's a deep sleeper."
"You have to take one of these pills now and one later, the doctor said." Anna said and picked up the pill bottle. She took one of the small white pills out and handed it over to Elsa. Elsa groaned and took the pill from her and popped it into her mouth and swallowed. "I have to go but Hans can help you when you decide to wake him up." Anna stood up from the bed and straightened her light pink dress and adjusted the dress around her belly. "The baby should be coming any time now. I think that we should start to keep a nurse around the castle so when the baby does come that he or she can be delivered."
"That'd be a good idea." Elsa nodded and scrambled around in her bed and snuggled in under the large blue blanket.
"I'll see you later." Anna smiled and left the room, closing the door after she left.
Elsa looked around the room and sighed, what to do, she thought. She looked down and realized that she was still in her dress from the night before. She clambered out of her bed and crossed the room to her wardrobe. She pulled out a long, plain violet colored dress and went behind her partition and changed into the dress. She took out her braid and let her long, platinum blond hair flow down her back and over her shoulders.
