Hans sat by Elsa's side, and has been for a few days now. They've had to feed her, made sure she was hydrated but she hadn't even woken up in the past few days.
"I want to figure out what the hell happened to my wife." Hans snapped over at the doctor. He was looking over his folder full of papers, they held the answers to Elsa and what exactly happened. The doctor opened up the folder on the countertop and sighed, shaking his head.
"She was poisoned, but it wasn't a killing type poison. More so a sleeping one."
"So how long until she's out of this?" Hans asked, holding her hand and watched as she was stuck in this permanent sleep.
"Until her body kicks it out, she needs to keep drinking water." The doctor nodded, still looking over the papers. "I have no way of figuring out who did this. Did you happen to see who she got a drink from? This had to be from a drink."
"No," Hans shook his head, he barely remembered that day. He only remembered that she even turned down a drink from Anna, who else would she take a drink from? "She even turned down a drink from Anna. She hadn't been feeling good that whole morning."
"Have you questioned everyone?"
"Of course, I did. Hell, I even put my brother in jail because I'm absolutely sure he did it."
"Which brother is this?" The doctor asked, looking down at Elsa and checked her temperature. It was normal, she was completely healthy, only trapped in this sort of coma.
"Alan. He's been all about Elsa since they've met."
"Then why would he try doing this?"
"I don't know." Hans muttered, putting his face in his hands. Why Elsa? He thought. Of all people.
"I'm thinking the person bought this poison off of someone for a cheap price, thinking it'd kill her but it didn't go as planned. Does everyone know she's only in a coma type state?"
"Yes. People start asking questions, y'know?" Hans snapped, then quickly apologized. He didn't want to be mean, he was only stressed.
"I think we should move Elsa somewhere that no one will know, just for her to be safe. I would let Anna know and myself, so I can keep check ups on her."
"Who will run Arendelle?" Hans asked.
"Who has the past few days?"
"I have, but I want to stay with Elsa."
"You need to stay here. I will too but give random check ups, so people don't suspect anything. Plus, I have a few nurses I'd trust and they can stay with her twenty-four seven."
"Let's do that then." Hans nodded and looked up to Elsa, smoothing her hair down and placed a loose strand behind her ear. "I know where we can take her. I bought us a vacation home we used for our honeymoon. She can stay there." He kissed her forehead lightly and stood from the chair. "Plus, she'll wake up knowing she's in the house. I just need to make sure that someone will be there when she does wake up to explain everything."
"Yes, of course. You'll have to show me where the home is then, when it gets dark we can take her there."
"Sounds like a plan. Will you stay here with her?" Hans asked, running a frustrated hand through his hair. "I need to tell Anna."
"Of course. I can feed her and give her water while you're gone."
"Thank you." Hans smiled and gave the doctor a quick, awkward type man hug. "Please don't let anyone in here unless you're here."
"I won't leave her sight." The doctor smiled and Hans nodded, quickly leaving the room, thankfully Anna's room wasn't too far away.
"Anna?" Hans knocked loudly at the door and almost right after little Mia started crying. "Shit." Hans muttered and opened the door quickly to find Anna sound asleep, Conner asleep in his crib and Mia crying quietly as if she knew they were sleeping. "Anna," Hans called again but she didn't budge. "Oh no." He said and looked hesitantly over to Mia. He couldn't handle a baby on his own, he was too afraid of them. "Hi, Mia." He whispered but that didn't calm her down. "Mia, shh. It's okay."
"Hans? What are you doing?" Anna asked from the bed, she quickly got out of bed and handled Mia, feeding her a bottle.
"I tried waking you up, then Mia started crying." He sighed.
"Has Elsa woken up?" Anna asked, her eyes brightening a little bit.
"No," Hans shook his head and her face dropped. "But I wanted to tell you that we'll be moving her to where no one will know. I don't want her to be hurt while everyone is sleeping. I was thinking I could tell you, Doctor Webster, and his nurse where she'll be, but no one else can know."
"I won't tell a soul. I want to figure out who the hell did this to my sister," Anna said, staring down at her child. "I don't understand who would do this, but I don't think Alan would. He's trying to change and you're the only one who isn't seeing it."
"I don't need this, please." Hans said and looked down at his hands then shoes. There was too much going on for another person to tell him this. "I'm going to figure out who did this but we'll be leaving tonight after the castle's asleep to move her. If you want to come and see where we'll be moving her, come to her room."
"I'll be there." Anna nodded and pulled out Mia's bottle, wiping off her mouth then began changing her diaper. Hans went to turn around but Anna spoke up. "Hans?" She asked and he turned around near the door. "I only say it's not Alan because I trust him, and because we could be wrong and the real person could be out and about getting away with this."
"I know. It's just hard to hear." Hans nodded, giving Anna a small smile and went out of her bedroom. He started heading back to his and Elsa's bedroom to start packing different clothes to keep for her at the house.
