Later that night Elsa walked into the castle giggling with Anna while they pushed the babies into the castle.

"Queen Elsa!" A female's voice boomed from down the hall. Elsa looked up quickly to see Hans' parents standing at the throne room doors.

"Good evening." Elsa smiled and looked to Anna. "I'll see you later, okay?" She said and hugged Anna quickly before going off to Hans' parents. "Good evening." Elsa said and curtsied in front of them. "You can just call me Elsa, if you are comfortable with that."

Hans' mother was very beautiful like Hans had said. Her hair was a sandy brown color and her eyes were a brilliant green. She was taller and dressed in a long, red dress that was low cut and fit her well. Hans' father had a deep red hair color, brown eyes and was dressed in black pants, brown boots that were knee length and he wore a light blue undershirt and a gray overcoat.

"Good evening, Elsa. It's nice to finally meet you." Hans' mother smiled and kissed both of Elsa's cheeks lightly. "Hans has talked greatly of you. I couldn't wait to meet you after you so rudely ran off."

"Yes, I apologize for that. I was letting Hans spend time with his family, I knew that he hasn't seen you in some time now."

"Well, thank you for that." She smiled and looked over to her husband. "My name is Susan, if Hans hasn't already told you."

"My name is Henry." He smiled at Elsa and took her hand lightly and kissed it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Queen Elsa."

"The pleasure is mine." Elsa smiled and looked between them both. How could they be such sweet people and neglect their youngest child. "Have you seen Hans?"

"I believe he's with Laila. The little love birds." Susan smiled and laughed quietly to herself.

"Thank you." Elsa nodded and tightened up. Hans still hasn't told anyone of their engagement. Why was he waiting so long to tell everyone? Especially Laila and his parents.

"I do apologize if it has been an inconvenience of coming early." Henry said and watched as Elsa looked around the halls.

"You're quite alright." Elsa looked at him briefly and smiled. "I should go now, but it was a pleasure to meet both you." Elsa smiled.

"If you are looking for Hans, he's in the courtyard at the water fountain." Susan mumbled and Elsa nodded slowly.

"Thank you, I need to speak with him."

"I can tell. Have a good night." Susan smiled.

Elsa quickly walked out of one of the castle's back doors that lead back into the courtyard. There were so many trees surrounding the courtyard and she could hear Hans' voice coming from near the water fountain where he officially proposed. Elsa snuck through the trees where neither of them could her. From Elsa's point of view she could see Hans sitting near but not too close to Laila on the bench of the water fountain.

"Laila, I am engaged now." He said. "I do not wish to continue a relationship with you. I love her."

"I don't understand why you can't tell me who?" She said and stared up at him.

"She doesn't want anyone to know just yet."

"Because that's what love is, keeping it from the public." Laila said and rolled her eyes, flicking her hair back with her hand. "I want to know who it is that's stealing you from me."

"Laila, I ended our relationship before I left? I'm not yours, nor was I ever." Hans snapped. "You're crazy." He said and stood up from the fountain. "I'm going back into the castle now."

"No, wait. Hans!" She yelled and grabbed his wrists. "You love me, I know you do. Have you forgotten all the time we spent together?" She asked, practically clinging to his chest.

"No, I haven't. It was nice while we spent that together but I want more out of life now." He said, not seeming to push her away. Suddenly Laila grabbed his cheeks and pulled her down into what seemed like the longest kiss.

Elsa quickly ran back into the castle with tears streaming down her face. She ran through the castle and ended up bumping into a person and fell to the ground hard.

"I'm so sorry." Elsa said quickly and felt the person pick her up to her feet gently and with ease.

"Queen Elsa?" The man asked and Elsa looked up at the man. He was handsome and had light strawberry blond hair and deep, chocolate brown eyes. "Are you okay?" He asked and laid a hand gently on her shoulder.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm sorry for bumping into you." She said and began to dry her cheeks and eyes. "I'll be going now. Thank you again." She said and without another word she quickly left the stranger and ran into her bedroom and locked the door tight.

She climbed into her soft bed and didn't even bother to change into a nightgown. She adjusted the large comforter over her body and laid her face into the pillow, softly crying and it eventually lulled her to sleep.
