Elsa and Hans went up to their bedroom since Elsa was still a little weak and she asked again what happened after she blacked out. He wasn't sure where to start so he started with Henry's death.

"My father landed on top of me, knocked me to the ground, and I didn't even realize I reacted but my sword... I killed him." He said quietly but continued. "I immediately took you back to Arendelle and went to the ice castle to find Laila and bring back his body. We found Laila hunched over him crying and... Well, here we are." He said and gestured towards the room, smiling down at her. "I'm so glad you're okay. I really thought you were gone."

"No," Elsa said and smiled at him. "You're stuck with me for the rest of our lives."

"That's fine with me!" Hans said and brought Elsa over to lay on his chest. She sighed happily and felt a small pang of sadness that Henry was gone, it was weird but also comforting.

"Hans?" Elsa asked, he made a small hm sound and she contemplated on whether or not she'd say the next thing but knew she had to. "I'm sorry that you had to kill your father but I'm also happy that I don't have to fear for my life anymore."

"I just don't know what my mother thinks. I know that the guards told her he passed away and I had a letter sent out to all of my brothers, except Alan, he knows already." Hans said and Elsa propped herself up on one elbow, looking at him and scanned his eyes.

"You know you did the right thing, even if you didn't intend to. He was going to kill me and I saw him snap like never before. I was so scared... But no matter what your mother or family thinks, what's important is that you saved my life." She smiled at him, he nodded and kissed her forehead, bringing her back to lay down again.

"You're right. I'm just glad this is all over and I know you're safe now." He whispered and she shut her eyes, feeling herself fall fast asleep to the quiet hum of his voice.

It had been a week now since Henry's death. Susan was upset but secretly relieved, they had his body sent back to the Southern Isles to be buried and Alan went back with her for support but he promised Hans and Elsa he'd be back to visit. Laila was an easy fix, she was found guilty of treason and sent back to Trasyn for her mother and father to deal with and she was banned from ever returning back to Arendelle. Hans never heard back from any of his other brothers about the death of their father, in reality Hans wasn't sure if they'd ever speak again. With his mean brothers the only thing they had in common were their parents, mostly Henry, and now that was gone. The only brothers he knew he'd keep contact with were Leo, Desmond and of course Alan. Anna had returned from Corona with Kristoff and the children and heard of the news, they said their apologies but like Elsa, they were happy to be safe.

Elsa sat at her vanity brushing out her hair and began twisting it into her braid, she looked at Hans in the mirror and smiled at him. He was sitting on the bed with his back to her, crouched over something in his hands.

"Whatcha got there?" Elsa asked and tied the end of the braid, bringing it over her shoulder and stood up from the bench. Her belly was starting to show a little more but not nearly as much as Anna's did at this point so most likely she was only carrying one child.

"That crazy notebook about the poison." He said and held it up, showing it to her then looked to the fire. "I'm going to burn it." He said and pushed up off of their bed, going over and set it in the fire, sitting down in a chair to watch the fire work it's magic. "I don't want any reminders about it." He said and Elsa nodded, even though he couldn't see it.

"Hans?" Elsa asked, Hans head perked up a little to show her that he was listening. "I was thinking that Thanksgiving is coming up and we can invite your mother and some of your brothers? Thanksgiving is really important to me... It's one of those days growing up that I was able to be with my family and I want to have family here."

"Of course." Hans said and continued watching the flames eat their way through the pages of paper.

"I'll have letters sent out to them." Elsa said and walked over to him, setting her hands on his shoulders and leaned over to kiss the top of his head. "I'm so glad the baby is okay."

"Me too," Hans said. "I wonder what he or she will like? Freckles most likely, auburn or blonde hair, tall when they're older, blue or green eyes, ice magic or like me... There's so much that goes into a person." He said and turned around to her, with him being eye level to her belly and rested his hands on both sides and kissed it lightly. "I can't believe you're making a child and I know that even if he or she has magic I want to teach them to control it, not fear it." He said and looked up into Elsa's eyes. "You're absolutely perfect the way you are. I wouldn't change anything for the world." He said and kissed her belly again before pushing up out of the chair to kiss Elsa. He held her at her hips, feeling her belly press against his own and smiled into their kiss. He loved her more than anything and couldn't imagine where he'd be without her.
