The next morning Elsa sat in Hans' bed quietly reading to herself while Hans was sleeping soundly until he began to stir beside her.

"Good morning." Elsa muttered to him and smiled down at him.

"Morning." He said, rubbing his eyes with his fists then looked up at her. "You're always reading." He said, sitting up in bed.

"I guess it's just a habit when I don't know what to do. I used to do it when I was in my room all the time." She shrugged, closing the book.

"What are your plans for the today?"

"Nothing for now."

"Well, when I was working up in the mountains with Kristoff we came across this lake and waterfall, I was wondering if you'd like to go?" He asked. "Anna and Kristoff too."

"What about Anna's baby? What if it comes?"

"It's not too far away from the town. If she does go into labor Kristoff can take his sleigh all the back to Arendelle."

"Okay." She nodded. "I'll ask them if they'd like to go... But I need to get a bath first." She said and tossed the blanket off of herself, once again revealing to Hans her red nightgown. "I'll meet you downstairs later, okay?" She said and climbed out the bed and stood near the door.

"Mhm." He nodded, half asleep and watched as she left the room.

Hans quickly shuffled out of bed and walked over to his wardrobe, searching for the right outfit for today, something he thought Elsa would think he looks nice in. He decided to go with a blue button-up shirt, waist high black pants that hung loosely on his hips and black boots to go with it all.

He quickly dressed himself and went into the washroom to freshen up for the day. He applied deodorant quickly, brushed his teeth and looked into mirror. Hans opened his mouth, examining his straight, perfect teeth. He closed his mouth and smiled, looking at his slight dimples in the mirror. What does Elsa even see when she looks at me? I'm just a shell of a man, Hans thought to himself and quickly turned away from the mirror and exited out of the washroom.

He walked out of his bedroom, locking his bedroom door and went down the hallway to go to the dining room for breakfast. Once he was in there he saw Anna sitting by herself eating a few chocolate chip hot cakes.

"Good morning, Anna." Hans smiled and picked up his plate and laid a few hot cakes down then a few pieces of bacon and a spoonful of scrambled eggs.

"Morning." She said and stuffed her mouth with a forkful of pancakes.

"Has Elsa talked to you yet?" He asked, sitting down at the table across from Anna.

"No? I just came down here. Kristoff left early for a hunting and fishing day." She said and sighed, poking at her food. "What did Elsa have to say?"

"We're going to a lake to go for a swim and I was planning a picnic. We were wondering if you wanted to come with us? Since Kristoff's not here I think Elsa would want you to come so she can keep an eye on you for the baby."

"I guess so." She half smiled and stood up from the table and crossed the room to get more food. "Where's Elsa at anyways?" She asked and looked over at Hans briefly.

"She's in the bath, I'm pretty sure." He said and looked over at Anna. She was so much bigger than the average pregnant woman he saw walking around Arendelle. She was dressing in a long dress that had a black bodice and a pink bottom and a light pink undershirt that had the sleeves rolled up. "When do you feel like you'll have the baby?"

"The doctors-"

"No, no. What you think."

"Oh. Well, I don't know. I've been having these bad cramps today." She said and sat back down at the table. "It just feels like a lot of pressure is down in my belly." She said and looked over at the doorway to see Alan walking in.

"Hello, all." Alan said and smiled widely at Hans then to Anna.

"There's only two of us." Hans muttered and glared at his brother.

"Why the angry face, brother?" Alan teased while he scooped eggs onto his plate. "Is Elsa not pleasing your sexual needs like Laila did?"

"You leave them out of this!" He yelled and quickly looked over to Anna. "I'm sorry, I just... I forgot you were here and the baby's poor ears. I'm so sorry." He said and gave her a small smile.

"Uh," She said and smiled faintly. "I better go."

"No," Hans said and grabbed her hand from across the table. "Please stay."

"Please, no arguing. Yelling could hurt the baby's ears." She said and looked over to Alan.

"I'm just wondering why you're so mad, Hans?" He said and took a seat at the far end of the table away from Hans. "I'd like to assume it's Elsa."

"No, it's you. You like to pester me until I snap and I'm sick of it. I honestly can't wait until you leave for the Southern Isles."

"You're leaving too, Leo said that dad wants us both home. You don't belong here, anyways." He said and looked over to Anna. "No offense, Arendelle is a lovely place."

"None taken and thank you." She smiled and looked at Hans warily.

"So, little brother, you're coming home with us. Elsa doesn't even want you. You're probably just a phase for her." He said and looked directly into Hans' green eyes. "After all, she's never felt love and has never been with anyone."

"Enough!" Hans yelled and stood from the seat. "I am sick and tired of your bullshit! Leave me alone, leave Elsa out of our problems, especially Laila. I am done with all of the Southern Isles drama and you."

"Ouch." Anna yelped from across the room. Hans looked over at her quickly and saw that she was clenching her stomach and shutting her eyes tightly. "Anna," He said and walked around the table quickly, dropping down onto his knees to see what was wrong. "Are you okay?"

"No! My water just broke." She said and looked down at her soaking wet dress. "Hans, please take me to the castle's infirmary. I need to go there now. I'm having the baby. Right now!" She yelled and glared at Hans.

"Right." He said and pulled Anna up in his arms and ran with her in his arms down to the infirmary. "Nurse." He said and laid her down on the white covered bed. "She's having her child." He said quickly and looked down at Anna, she was gripping the sides of the bed in pain and squeezing her eyes shut. "Please, get the doctor. I need to go find Kristoff."

"Have Alan go find Kristoff and you go get Elsa." Anna said through gritted teeth, her eyes still closed. "Kristoff is at the Eastern Lake near the village."

"Okay. I'll go." He said quickly and ran out of the infirmary.

He ran through the castle to the dining room where Alan was sitting there eating, not seeming to care about Anna. "Anna needs you to go find Kristoff. He's at he Eastern Lake near the edge of the village. Please go get her. This isn't for me, it's for Anna." He said and watched as Alan nodded quickly and got up from the table to go get Kristoff.
