Hans and Elsa walked up the stone trail to the castle's gates. As they opened up Hans looked down at Elsa and brought himself down to her level and kissed her, Elsa wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing him closer to her.

"Hans!" Alan yelled from the other side of the gates. Elsa quickly pulled herself away from him, adjusting her dress and wiped her mouth. "Geez, you love birds." He said and punched Hans in his arm.

"Alan." Hans nodded and brought Elsa to his side, wrapping his arm protectively around her.

"I'm sorry I interrupted." He said, rolling his eyes then looked down at Elsa. "Hi, Elsa. I feel like you've been avoiding me."

"No." Elsa shook her head, looking down at her hands. "I've been busy." She shrugged although she was lying. She hadn't want anything to do with Alan since their almost kiss.

"Elsa," Hans said and looked down at her. "Why don't you go up and get changed for bed, okay?" He asked, smiling at her innocently.

"I think I might go see Anna." She said and let go of Hans. "Goodnight, Alan." She said and slipped past Alan and up into the castle.

"Where are you going?" Hans asked Alan once Elsa was inside of the castle, safe away from him.

"Oh," He smiled and rocked back and forth on his heels. "Just out for a stroll." He shrugged, the smile never leaving his face.

"Right... This late at night?" Hans said and watched as his brother rocked back and forth slowly. "I doubt it but I don't care."

"So you and Elsa, huh? Lucky you. I tried getting somewhere with her and you're the only reason we didn't kiss."

"She was at a weak point and you took advantage of her, Alan. She didn't want to kiss you." Hans said, becoming angry. "I'm going back into the castle now. Goodnight." Hans said and walked quickly past Alan and headed up into the castle. "Elsa?" Hans called out while he walked up through the halls.

"She's up with Anna." Kristoff's voice came from ahead of him. Hans looked up at him and nodded. "Something wrong?" Kristoff asked, taking a big bite out of a deep red apple.

"It's just my brother. I don't really care to talk about it though. Did Elsa seem upset to you?"

"No, not really." He shrugged and took another bite. "I'll tell her you were looking for her?"

"No, that's okay." Hans said. "Thanks though."

"Hey, no problem." He said and smiled briefly.

"I need to write a letter out anyway so I'd like some space for a little bit."

"I won't mention that I saw you then." Kristoff said quietly.

"Thank you. Have a good night." Hans said quickly and turned away, walking off to his bedroom to write his letter.
