They woke the next morning and Elsa was hit with the reminder of having to deal with Silas. She had two options, Silas would tell the truth or he'd have to be hung for his crimes. All the evidence they found points back to him.

"Elsa?" Hans said from across the room. She looked up at him, he was dressed in a black button up shirt, light gray wool pants and Elsa noticed that his hair was back to its original color, it must've washed out. "Good morning." He smiled over at her and slipped on his black boots. "I have bad news."

"What is it?" Elsa sighed, throwing off the blanket and pulled herself up out of bed. She walked over to her closet and chose a lace, black dress that had long sleeves and pooled around her feet.

"I've never seen that dress before." Hans said and pointed at the dress she was holding.

"I haven't wore this in a long time." She said and began undressing from her nightgown. She pulled the black one on and moved into the view of the mirror, adjusting her dress in certain places. "What's the bad news?"

"Silas is waiting for us in the throne room... We have to make a decision today and he's had enough time to think." He shrugged and stood in front of Elsa, cupping her chin so she'd look up at him. "I love you and no matter what our decision is it won't define who we are."

"I love you too." She said and they kissed briefly before they left their bedroom.

They were walking down the hallways quietly, the only sounds were their shoes, and Anna came around the corner in a huff.

"Elsa," She said and they stopped in the hall, only a few seconds from the throne room. "Why is Silas in the throne room in chains?"

"He's committed treason by forging Hans' signature on a document. He's being given a chance to confess today, and if he does confess..." Elsa trailed off and Hans picked up where she stopped.

"He'll be hung for his treason." Hans said and Anna nodded, looking down at Elsa. You could tell she was uncomfortable with hanging someone, or even killing them.

"If he does confess would you want me to come in the courtyard where they do the hangings?" Anna asked. "To comfort you." She added and Elsa nodded, giving her a small smile.

"We should go." Hans reminded Elsa and she nodded. They walked into the throne room and they saw Silas in chains, and even though he's been a prisoner he still looked arrogant. Hans and Elsa walked up to their thrones, taking a seat and Anna stood beside Elsa. "Ezra, please bring Silas over."

"Yes, sir." Ezra nodded and grabbed Silas's arm, bringing him in front of the King and Queen.

"Thank you." Hans said and looked down to Silas. "You know what you've been accused of, and do you confess your crimes?"

"I have thought over the situation this past day and I do confess to the crime of forging your name." Silas said. "Because I have confessed to my treason will I still be killed?"

"That is for us to decide... But I do have a question for you." Hans said and looked over to Elsa, she gave him a weird look but he held her hand, trying to reassure her. "The Queen was poisoned a short while ago, did you poison her?" He asked and Silas's eyes widened and he shook his head quickly.

"No, I would never try to hurt either of you." He said and Elsa exhaled quietly, she didn't even notice she was holding her breathe.

"Thank you." Hans nodded and looked to Elsa. "Should we have him killed for treason?" He whispered but Elsa didn't say anything. "I don't think banishment would work because he could leave and do this to others."

"You weren't killed from your treason?" Elsa said.

"No, because that was my brother's choice. This man is only a part of your council, not a family member." He said. "I think this would be for the best for you and I."

"Fine, then. I don't want treason in Arendelle or to send him where he'll do it again." She whispered and looked up to Ezra. "Please take him back to his cell and keep an eye on him."

"Yes, Your Grace." He said and took Silas by his chains, pulling him out of the room and out of sight to Hans and Elsa. Elsa stood from her chair but Hans grabbed her hand to turn her back to him.

"Please tell me you're not mad at me for this." Hans said and Elsa looked down at him for a moment.

"I'm not... I remembered that my parents never took kindly to treacherous people and neither should I... I need to keep treason out of Arendelle like my parents would want." Elsa muttered. "We need to figure out how he'll be..."

"I think that decapitation would be easiest. It'll end his life so he's not suffering." Anna said and Hans agreed.

"Make the arrangements. I would like it to be done today." She said and Hans nodded. "Do you think I should review my documents to make sure he didn't forge my name?"

"I would, just to be safe." Hans said and Anna came over to Elsa's side.

"I'll keep you company?" Anna smiled at Elsa. "There's a play at noon if you'd like to go with me. It could be a girls day, we haven't had one of those in quite awhile."

"I'd love to." Elsa said and looked over to Hans. "I'll be out with Anna instead."

"Have a good time." Hans said and stood from his throne, going and giving her a kiss and hug before she left. "I love you so much." He said and Elsa smiled, kissing him again and said she loved him too.

"Come on, love bird." Anna smiled and tugged Elsa away from Hans. They left the throne room smiling and stopped by their bedrooms to grab light coats. It was finally starting to get colder out and Thanksgiving was coming closer. Elsa probably enjoyed Thanksgiving more than she did Halloween. When her parents were still living that was one of days Elsa was permitted to see Anna and actually talk with her, the only other time was Christmas.
