It's already September Eighteenth, almost three weeks after Hans and I got married. I've spent about a week on our honeymoon and wasted two weeks in my coma, Elsa thought to herself.

"Hi," Hans said, making her jump out of her thoughts. She sat staring into the mirror at her vanity and was brushing her long, snow white hair out for the night. He shut the door behind him, locked it out of habit and collapsed down onto the bed with a sigh. It had been hours since she had seen Hans, it was already getting late in the evening and they had been talking for a while now.

"What did Alan say?" Elsa asked, looking at Hans in the mirror.

"Laila asked him to help her, she said she would let him go after he killed you. Basically, asking him to be an assassin." He said, sitting up in bed and watched as she brushed her hair out. "He said no and she said she'd do it herself. So I'm assuming she was the one who tried poisoning you and maybe the hunter today... It's just that she isn't the type to do the dirty work."

"I know it wasn't Laila, they were built like a man."

"But you don't remember anything from the welcome home party?"

"Nothing." She said, shaking her head and laid the brush down onto her vanity.

"You should start keeping a journal or something for everyday. Just in case anything happens again, I can look back to see what happened in the recent days."

"That sounds ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as me staying in this house until we find the killer."

"I just want you to be safe." He mumbled.

"I know." She nodded, standing from the bed and sat on the bed beside him. "I can protect myself, or at least try to."

"We'll go back to the castle in the morning. I promise." He grabbed both of her hands and kissed them gently. "You really don't know how much I've missed you." He whispered and pulled her into a small, sweet kiss.

"I'm exhausted." Elsa mumbled. She yawned quietly and sprawled out over Hans' chest.

"How? You just slept for two weeks!" He laughed and she sat up, punched him in the arm. She got out of the bed and stood with her arms crossed while glaring at him.

"That is not funny." She snapped, still standing with her arms crossed.

"You look adorable when you're mad." He smirked and she punched him in the arm again, only this time it was harder.

"I'm sleeping on the couch. You've pissed me off, Hans." She said and grabbed a pillow and light blanket. He quickly hopped out of bed and stood in front of door. "Move, now." She said and stared up at him. There was no way she was afraid of him, she was never afraid of anyone or anything, only herself. "I swear, Hans."

"If you really don't want to sleep next to me I'll sleep on the couch. You can sleep in the bed where you're comfortable." He said and she handed him the pillow and blanket. "Really?" He asked, his voice low and upset.

"You really upset me by saying that. I had no control over the whole situation and you want to joke about it? It's too soon to joke about."

"You don't even want me to sleep beside you? I don't have to touch you or anything but please, at least let me sleep next to you. I've missed you." He rambled but wouldn't stop there. "I've been wanting to sleep next to you for weeks. Please don't do this to me."

"Hans-"

"No, it was really mean what I said and I was joking but you're right, it's not funny. I'm sorry." He muttered, his face dropping by the second. Elsa's expression and mood softened easily, if he wasn't Hans then she'd still be mad, probably fuming mad. But Hans was her weakness, a good weakness.

"I... I'm sorry I snapped." She said and took the pillow and blanket from him. "You can sleep in the bed with me. I should have thought about what's been going on for you these past few weeks."

"You're fine. It was my fault completely." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist, lifting her off the ground into a big bear hug. "Forgive me?" He asked and she nodded, setting her back onto the carpeted floor. "Good. I don't think I could go to sleep with you mad at me."

"Me either." She said and kissed him quickly. Elsa pulled away from him and set the bed up for them while Hans changed into just his underwear to sleep in. They blew out the burning candles, climbed into bed under the covers and snuggled up closely to each other, feeling the love and energy between them. "I love you." She whispered into the dark while she waited for his response.

"I love you too," He whispered and snuggled deep into her shoulder. "So, so much." He said and could tell Elsa was smiling to herself in the dark. All he wanted to do everyday was make her smile.
