Elsa stood in the shower, feeling the hot water numbing her skin, numbing the way she felt inside. She really didn't understand what's been happening. She was poisoned, a sleeping type poison, and she didn't even know who would do it or why? It could have been Laila, but Elsa and Hans were already married. It could be someone trying to take the throne, and her power, after they married but it would go to Anna.

"Elsa?" Hans called out. Elsa quickly shut the water off, wrapping the towel around her body tightly and hopped out of the shower. "Jane?" He called out and Elsa hesitated at the door, her hand hovering over the door knob.

"Who's Jane?" Elsa asked herself quietly. She turned the door knob quietly and went out into the hallway, seeing Alan standing outside of his door. He was dressed in dark brown pants, shirtless but his stomach was wrapped in medical wrap. "I'm going downstairs." Elsa said, not too loud but Hans could hear her just fine.

"Elsa!" He yelled and ran to see her running down the steps to him and into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her stomach, holding her tightly to his chest while he cried into her shoulder. "I'm so happy you're awake." He whispered.

"I'm so happy to see you." Elsa said and pulled away from him, smiling up at him.

"I-" He said and looked up to see Alan standing there in the hallway. "What the fuck is he doing here?" Hans asked Elsa and looked briefly to him then to her. "And why are you in a towel and he's half naked?" Hans asked and took a step away from Elsa, staring angrily from him to her.

"No, Hans, it's really not what you think." She pleaded. "I was just in the shower, I hadn't even finished when you came in."

"Then why is he fucking shirtless, Elsa? This is the second time something like this has happened." He said, bringing himself from a yell to a quiet whisper.

"Hans-" Alan started and came down the stairs, standing behind Elsa.

"Get away from him, Elsa. He's the one who poisoned you." Hans snapped and grabbed Elsa by the wrist and brought her behind him.

"Hans!" Elsa snapped. "I saved his life. He saved mine too."

"What?" Hans asked, looking at Alan then to Elsa.

"He saved me, he took an arrow because Laila tried killing me!" Elsa snapped.

"Laila would never try killing you. We're married now, what the hell would she gain out of killing you?"

"I don't know but why would Alan save me if he wanted me dead?" She said. "Wait, who's Jane? You called out for a Jane." Elsa said, remembering him calling out the name.

"She's your nurse, she's been here taking care of you." Hans said and looked down at Elsa into her crystal blue eyes, her light freckles on her cheeks and then her small nose and pouty lips. "Elsa, can we talk about this upstairs?" He asked. "Alone?"

"Sure." Elsa said after a second or two of silence.

"Hans," Alan said. "I would never hurt Elsa, she's like a little sister to me."

"Thank you for saving her. After I speak to Elsa, could I speak to you about this whole thing?" Hans asked, taking Elsa's hand in his.

"Of course." Alan nodded, looking at his hands briefly then back up to Hans.

"Come on." Hans muttered and pulled Elsa upstairs and into their bedroom, shutting and locking the door after.

Elsa sat nervously on their bed, folding her hands together and onto her lap. She felt like a child that was about to get into trouble with their parents. Elsa looked up at Hans as he sat down beside her. He let out a small sigh, staring into her beautiful eyes.

"I missed you." He whispered and cupped her face with his hands, bringing her into a long awaited, affectionate and heart breaking kiss. "Having this whole thing happen to you made me never want to take anything for granted. Even just having a quick kiss, or a smile from you, or a hug. Anything from you I'll never take for granted because... One day you were snatched up from me. I thought I'd never get to see you up and okay." He smiled. "You are okay, aren't you?"

"Of course I am. I'm fine, I just don't really remember anything except us talking in the carriage before we came back. I don't- What exactly happened?"

"You took a drink from someone, I don't know who, and you weren't feeling good so you headed to go to bed. I didn't think it was suspicious or anything so I said okay, then a maid found you passed out in the hallway."

"I just hope we find the person before they try anything again."

"Well, actually, I want you to stay here until we do find him."

"What?" She asked, raising her eyebrows. "That's not going to happen. I have a country to run."

"Elsa, Arendelle doesn't even know you're sick or even here. I've been running Arendelle just fine." He sighed, running a frustrated hand through his hair. "I want you to stay here, for me. Okay?"

"I'm not staying here and you can't make me. I'm going to Arendelle, I'm the queen and it's my responsibility to rule Arendelle, not yours."

"So this is a property thing? What's yours is yours?"

"Ugh! No," She said, dropping onto her back and stared up at the ceiling. "I want to take care of Arendelle, myself. My parents trusted me to do it, so I should."

"I want to kiss you right now." He muttered and stared down at Elsa, smiling at her in a cute and adorable way. She smiled back but quickly furrowed her eyebrows and frowned.

"No, stop being cute. I'm mad at you." She said and sat up in bed, straightening the towel around her body.

"You look quite sexy in that towel, Mrs. Westerguard." He smirked and kissed her cheek. "Since you're mad at me you can get dressed and I'll go speak to Alan."

"Okay, but you have to promise me something."

"What's that?" He asked, holding both of her hands and kissed the tops of them.

"Don't put Alan back in jail. I can tell he really didn't do it. He said Laila tried getting him to kill me and she said she'd just do it. That's why he escaped, because he knew she was planning something." She rambled, looking straight up into his confused emerald eyes. "Please, just hear his whole story and if after you don't believe him, then you can lock him up while we search for the real guy."

"I'll go talk to him about it all," He smiled, trying to reassure her that everything would be okay. "I'll find this son of a bitch for you." He said and kissed her lightly on the lips, feeling her soft lips press lightly back at his. "I love you so much." He whispered to her then left the room for her to change for the day.
