Elsa was wrapped up warmly in a few layers of Hans' shirts then her mother's trench coat and wore two pairs of pants with black boots.
"I think I'm bundled." Elsa said and looked down at her clothes, smiling up at Anna. Anna was dressed similarly just not as many layers.
"Alright, let's go." Anna smiled and they left the castle, going out to a small gate leading out to the mountain behind the castle. They stopped at the bottom where it was flat enough to build a snowman or go sled riding down the hill.
"Hi guys!" Olaf yelled and came running and waving towards Anna and Elsa. "Whew! What a run!" He said once he reached them, practically gasping for breath.
"Hi, Olaf." Anna smiled and waved happily at him.
"Hi," Elsa said and waved at him, still shocked that she made him and brought life to snow.
"Soo, I was thinking we could build another snowman? See if you could make it come to life?" Anna asked and stared at Elsa eagerly until she responded.
"I'm sure I could... I just.. Recently I've been weak and couldn't use much of my magic before I felt sick to my stomach. I'm really thinking the baby doesn't have magic and could be reacting negatively any time I go to use it." Elsa shrugged but tried to stay positive. "We could actually build a snowman? Without my magic enchanting it."
"Sure!" Anna grinned. "Let's get started." She said and picked up a little bit of snow, forming it into a snowball and began rolling it around on the snow to make the ball bigger.
"How can I help?" Olaf asked and Elsa thought about what he could do to help.
"How about this? You gather some rocks, a carrot and maybe a scarf to wrap around its neck." Elsa said and started to form her own snowball for the snowman.
"Ooh! Sounds fun!" He smiled and with his little legs he ran off and into the castle.
"He's so cute." Anna smiled. She rolled her ball of snow into the perfect size for the bottom of their snowman. "This'll be the bottom. I can work on the head now." Anna said and Elsa nodded, feeling her back begin to hurt from the pregnancy.
"I can't do much more after this. My back hurts already." Elsa frowned a little and picked up her snowball, setting it on top of Anna's part she made. "I can help put the carrot on and the rocks..." Elsa said and felt bad that she couldn't do much after the snowman. She was used to being able to play in the snow for hours.
"Your pregnancy has been way different than mine and I was pregnant with twins. I'm worried about you." Anna said and formed the rest of the head with her hands.
"I should be okay. I'm just feeling sick when I'm near the cold." Elsa shrugged and gave Anna an encouraging smile. "I don't know why my back hurts so much though."
"Maybe you should go to the doctor. Maybe the baby does have magic? I could find mother's journal before the one we found... Maybe she wrote about her pregnancy with you? She was pregnant with a baby who had magic." Anna suggested but Elsa shook it off.
"That's okay, but thank you. I should be okay." Elsa smiled.
Olaf came running back out and Anna placed the head carefully on the snowman. Elsa grabbed the red and gray scarf, wrapping it around the neck and started to place the small black rocks on the face. She made the eyes, the mouth into a smile, placed bigger rocks on the chest area then pushed the nose into the face. Anna smiled over at Olaf, remembering when she had to do the same for Olaf but pushed a little too hard. Anna, Elsa and Olaf all looked at the snowman with pride and all had smiles, Elsa was happy she got to play in her element, Anna was happy to spend time with Elsa and make her happy again, and Olaf was happy he could help bring the rocks, nose and scarf.
