It was now a few days after the welcoming dinner of Hans' family and the day of Anna's welcoming ball for Mia and Conner.

"Queen Elsa," Kai said from the other side of Elsa's library door. She was wrapped up in paperwork the whole morning and never found time to even make sure the decorations or food or any of the preparations were set for the ball tonight.

"Yes?" Elsa asked and looked up momentarily at Kai then went back to signing her name on the paper. "Princess Anna has requested your presence in the ballroom."

"Thank you, I'll be down in a minute." She said and looked up at him briefly then stood up from the desk, straightening out her red dress that lightly hit the floor.

Elsa left her library quickly and headed down to the ballroom, excited to see the decorations they had ready or there weren't any decorations ready. Elsa made her way into the ballroom to see Anna standing on a ladder hanging colored streamers from the ceiling, Kristoff was watching her from below and was holding the ladder still.

"Anna? What are you doing?" Elsa asked and stood with her hands on her hips while Anna tapped up a pink streamer. "I'm very busy with paperwork."

"Oh! Elsa-" Anna said and turned around quickly, making the ladder shake and throwing her off balance. She began falling from the ladder and luckily Kristoff was able to catch her before she hit the floor.

"Anna," Kristoff said and continued holding her while Elsa walked over to them quickly. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm just glad you caught me." She smiled and patted his chest with her hand and jumped out of his arms to stand next to him.

"And to think just a week ago you had twins." Elsa smiled and shook her head at Anna.

"I know!" Anna giggled. "I feel great for having three kids!" She grinned and Kristoff and Elsa gave her a confused look.

"Three kids?" Kristoff asked and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Oh," Anna said and swayed a little towards Elsa. "Mia, Conner," She said out loud and leaned back to Elsa. "And Kristoff." She said and jabbed her thumb at Kristoff.

"Hey!" Kristoff said loudly, but he wasn't mad at her, he hardly ever was mad at her.

"Anyways," Anna said and smiled up at Kristoff. "I was hanging streamers. Aren't they pretty?" Anna asked and admired her handy work.

"They're a little... Childish. Don't you think so?" Elsa said and stared up at the pink and light blue streamers hanging above them.

"Elsa, they're for my children's birth. Of course they'll be childish, it's for babies." Anna said, full of sass and put enough emphasis on the word babies to slightly annoy Elsa. She could only handle her own sass, paperwork and a kingdom full of people for one day.

"They look great." Elsa smiled and looked around at the room. There were tables set up along the sides of the room with all different assortments of chocolate candies, a chocolate fountain with little things to dip into the fountain like strawberries, little marshmallows, pineapple and little apple slices. On another table there was a tall cake with beautiful icing designs done to it and on another table there were platters full of sandwiches and different foods to keep guests full and two punch bowls to keep them refreshed. "Everything's looking great. What time is it?"

"It's about four. That's why I'm trying to get decorations up and all the maids are cleaning." Anna said and looked around the room. "Kai has the babies though."

"A few ships have arrived in but the castle's gates are closed until everything is ready for the party." Kristoff said and Elsa furrowed her eyebrows a little.

"I don't like closing the gates but I guess only until we're ready then they're open." Elsa said and both Kristoff and Anna nodded. "I should go find Hans." Elsa said and waved goodbye to them before she walked out of the ballroom and headed up to Hans' bedroom. "Hans?" She asked and tapped lightly on the door but there was no response.

Elsa tried opening the door but it was locked tight and she tried jiggling the knob but it wouldn't budge. She turned away from the door frustratedly.

"Queen Elsa," A maid's voice squeaked from behind her while she was leaving the door alone. The maid was smaller and plump, having jet black hair that fell over her shoulders and was in the typical maids outfit of the castle. "Prince Hans has moved out of the room, your Majesty."

"To where?" Elsa asked and became very confused. Where would he even move his room to? Elsa wondered. "Did something happen to make him leave?"

"I'm not sure, your Majesty. There is word going around the castle that you two are lovers." She said and looked down at her black boots. "I'm not sure if that's true but I'll try to stop word from spreading."

"Yes, thank you." Elsa nodded. "Please try to simmer down that rumor." Elsa said and sighed. It was only a matter of time before everyone would find out, maybe even the council, Elsa thought to herself. "Do you know where Hans has moved to?"

"I believe to your bedroom. He took everything out of his bedroom in a huff to your bedroom."

"Thank you." She nodded and walked back down the hallway, quickly opening her door to find Hans half naked with only a shirt on and was searching through a wardrobe on the far right wall. "Hans!" She said and shut the door quickly, shielding her eyes from him. "Put some clothes on." She mumbled.

"I have underwear on now." He muttered after slipping on a pair of blue boxers. Elsa looked over to him and sighed, she still wasn't used to seeing him naked. "I've moved into your bedroom, I hope that's okay?"

"It's fine but why did you move out of yours?" She asked and sat down on her bed, watching as he changed into a formal outfit for the ball.

"We'll be married and I figured we should at least share a bedroom before we are officially married... Instead of the maids running their mouths that we're having an affair."

"I see." She nodded and looked down at her fingernails. "How many people know?"

"All of the maids, I'm sure and the rumor will only spread even more when guests arrive." He sighed and looked over to Elsa. "I'm sorry I got you into this."

"Why? I'm happy with you, I don't care what anyone else has to say about me losing my virtue. We are going to be married." She said, slightly irritated.

"No one knows that though... They probably think we're just sleeping with each other." He said and sat down beside Elsa after he was fully dressed for the day. "I love you, you know that right?" He asked and leaned forward, kissing her lightly on the forehead.

"I love you too." She smiled and leaned into him. "Sometimes I hate being a queen. I just want to be able to have fun and not have to worry about keeping a country afloat or having to worry about tedious balls."

"Why can't Anna be queen?"

"It'd mess up the line of succession, plus, I want to prove myself to everyone and make my parents proud."

"I'm sure they're looking down smiling at you and Anna."

"I'm sure too." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him lightly. "You always put me into a much better mood."

"Good." He smiled and kissed her forehead. "What do you say we just lay here for a little while?"

"I'd love to but-"

"We'll let Anna take care of it. If anyone needs us, we'll be in here where they can find us." He said and pulled her into his lap. "Please? I just want to hold you for a little bit." He mumbled and she nodded against his chest. They both laid down on her bed with Elsa laying on his chest, not covering up or kissing but just laying there enjoying each other's company until they were forced to leave the bedroom.
