Hans and Elsa enjoyed the rest of the carnival together along with most of Arendelle. They painted their faces together, enjoyed a few circus acts in a few different tents, played a few different carnival games and now were walking to go to the restaurant.
"I hope you had fun today." Hans said to Elsa, he looked down at her and smiled at her beauty. Her hair was in a braid, her dress fit her well and her cheeks were a rosy red color.
"I did, thank you." She smiled up at him and looked up at the restaurant they stopped in front of. The sign read 'Snowflake's Place'. Elsa giggled and nudged him with her elbow. "I see why you would think of me."
"I'm glad you're not offended, that was my biggest worry."
"Of course I'm not offended." Elsa giggled and linked her arm through his arm, her hand resting on his bicep. "I hope they have good food. I'm starving."
"Let's get you something to eat then." Hans smiled and led their way into the restaurant. When they walked in it was extremely crowded with people and there was even a long line waiting towards the doors. "Oh no." Hans groaned. "I didn't put any reservations in for us." Hans said and hit himself on his forehead. "We're not going to be seated for hours." Hans snapped and looked around for a worker or the owner. "All I want is to have one dinner with you without anyone else but once I find a damn place it's filled up. This is ridiculous." Hans snapped and looked down at Elsa briefly then looked back around for someone to find them an open table.
"Hans, please calm down." Elsa said and held her hand on his arm. She had never seen him get so upset. "Hans." She squeezed his arm lightly. "Look at me." She said and became frustrated with him. He was stubborn and so was she. It wasn't a great combination.
"What, Elsa?" He snapped and looked down at her with his green eyes blazing. She cowered back a little and let go of his arm. "I'm sorry." He said and grabbed her hands. "I just want to spend time with you and I can't. I've been planning this whole day for a few weeks and I forgot to reserve a table for us."
"We can go back to the castle and eat dinner there." She suggested and was still backed away from him.
"Anna and Kristoff will be there. I want to spend time with just you and I."
"I have an idea. Why don't we go back to the castle and we can make dinner together?"
"I can't cook." Hans muttered, shooting down the idea quickly.
"I can't either... So I guess we can learn together." Elsa smiled and began pulling him toward the doors to leave the restaurant. "Please?"
"Okay. You head back to the castle before it gets too dark... I'm going to set reservations for another night for us."
"Hans, please. We'll be okay." She said, tugging at his arm, attempting to get him to come with her.
"This is something I want for us... We need to get out of the castle and spend time together." He said and squeezed her hands then let go. "I'll see you at the castle." He said and kissed the top of her forehead.
